They were there yesterday...attached with Israeli embassy. It's just a small Mossad team working w/ Kenyan Defense Forces. A hostage negotiator, bomb disposal expert and two terrorism experts.

They helped 3 Israeli nationals in the mall escape. Then, they joined KDF forces in their command center to provide assistance.

Many embassies have counter-terrorism teams, East Africa is Israeli tourist destination. Israeli nationals have been targeted there. The most recent incident was acid attack in Zanzibar.

It would be strange if Israel did not have a counter-terrorism team in it's embassy in Nairobi.
