Obama is weakening the Power Grid by closing Coal fired Power plants, and the Nuke plants are old and require Line Power from the Grid to run "Normally". Once the Grid goes down they require Backup generators with "FULE" to run the Colling pumps to prevent them from going Fukushima like they had happen in Japan after the big Earthquake disaster.

I have heard America has 20+ reactors with same design as Fukushima and all reactors must have power for cooling pumps for reactors and spent fuel rod pools or they will overheat, and produce hydrogen and blow up.
