There is not enough musculature in the neck to hold up that head.
Look at Australopithecus boisei. There are bony crests in the skull to hold the muscle, etc, but also massive shoulders for the counter-positions.
His frame is too slight. Just think how many cc the brain is alone.
It's gotta be animatronic. Made to look like old film, too.
