Shithole Romania adopted mass stray dogs euthanasy

I know of at least one Nation Guam that eats dogs and kitties, so why arenot these animals sold and shipped there, and to other Nations that eat such meats?

When i took my children to Hawaii, i also took our kitty, Sukki, and when i got there, friends warned be about the Guam people that would steal the kitty if i didnot keep a close eye on it.

C'mon....I've been to your country....you need to kill all those stray dogs...on my last visit 5 years ago, the stray dogs had just killed a Japanese tourist, and they had just culled the stray dogs but there were at least 10 feral dogs at the Bucharest train station when we pulled in.....you should address the garbage issue while your at it...and the traffic. pathetic p.e.t.a pusher

I am ashamed too for my country, but not for the so called mass killing of dogs, which is not going to happen, but for the whole degradation of the society.

First of all, it seems like OP here intentionally omitted the back-story of this insanity that is going on here.

Short story, Romania is a generalized mafia state. The EU doesn't want you to know, but the whole European Union has gone corrupt to the bones, and Romania is, unfortunately, the 'class-leading' member, so to speak. The common people are so interested in themselves, that are not even reacting to corruption, in the contrary, they contribute to it for personal quick gains.

One of the biggest unsolved problem in the big cities are the stray dogs. So, some smart guys found a way of making money: let's try to keep them on the streets, so we can have a problem to address to animal protection organizations abroad, so we can take easy money from donations and keep them for ourselves. In the meantime, these smart fellows NGOs did actually nothing on solving the problem while receiving important funds from outside to solve it in a civilized matter.

As a result, the streets are infested with packs of stray dogs gone wild, many of them biting people and being fed by many people. It has come to a point where you are afraid to walk on the streets by night because of them, and not to mention the diseases they transmit by pooping on the streets.

There have been many cases of biting people and even kill them (one Japanese business man learned the very hard way of coming to Romania and just simply walk on the street), but the worse was a couple of weeks ago, when a 4 year child was completely torn apart in a park by a pack of dogs.

So, to summarize: because some people want to make quick money, a child died in agony.

From this point on the society was split in 2 opposing sides: those who want them dead, no matter what, and those who want the problem solved or not, but not by killing them.

The problem is that some politicians and their "acolytes" involved in the money making scheme (also including the MAYOR of the capital city!) are desperate that their income source will vanish and launched a series of misleading theories, that the kid was torn apart by other dogs than the stray ones, that a pedophile did this, while spreading panic among the gullible inside or outside our country that a massacre is going to happen in Romania.

Due to public pressure, the Parliament adopted a common sense law, very much like in other civilized countries, that all cities must catch all the stray dogs, keep them in shelter for 14 days for adoption or claim and, if no one wants them, put them to sleep, while passing new harsher rules for adoption (if you free them back on the streets, you'll go to prison and pay a large fine).

Nobody, absolutely nobody, wants the stray dogs murdered on sight, it's just propaganda from "wise guys" or stupid people that believe all the BS from these people. The common sense people wants the problem solved, period. It's a shameful problem to have in the 21st century in a European state, not to mention is a sign of filth and degradation.

So, yes, I am to ashamed for my country. In spite of our European heritage and all the money, it's still a shithole country, with a shamefully ignorant and individually orientated society. It's a jungle, everybody for themselves, we are like wolves amongst us, but decent and warm only in front of visitors from other countries. That's the uncomfortable truth.

I don't see anyone whining though or any Japanese calling their country a shithole. The poster says 300,000 cats and dogs are killed like that every year in Japan.
