A Question for Christians and Athiests

I was just thinking about the threads made by both and wondered, has anyone 'converted' you by a thread they have made on here?

Were you once an Athiest and became a Christian because someone made a thread and 'opened your eyes' for e.g, or vice versa?

I see a lot of threads made by both and wondered if they are of any real help to anyone or is it all just a waste of bandwidth?
