there is no evidence that this Jesus guy existed, even though i agree with most of the things in the bible i still belive that it is a man made creation with the intention to brainwash and manipulate the masses

do some research: there is tons of evidence Christ existed:

how do u know it was jesus, how do u know it wasnt one of literally dozens of other religious figures that were born of a virgin on dec 25th and was resurected 3 days after there death
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 37255161

because the Bible does NOT say when he was born and Christianity as a Church was paganized by the Romans in 300 AD... at that time the Bible was available in many languages. By 500 AD it was mostly in Latin and for the elites.

Men fought and died for it to be in English (Tyndale: read history of Geneva Bible: the only one I recommend).

Be aware, brother, that there are evil people who do not want you to know the truth and will lie and create b.s. to confuse you. It can take a long time of cross-referencing to figure out what is going on.

See Walter Veith vids on fossil record, DNA complexity, etc and other creationist scientists....

ALSO: must watch: "Zeitgeist Debunked" and "Ancient Aliens Debunked" the lies are obvious when you do.

While you make a very intelligent analysis of religion as a whole and Christianity in particular, you're a fool if you throw the baby out with the dirty bathwater and make the leap of faith that the universe simply designed itself.

It's not possible. Imagine if you will a tornado passing through a junkyard and assembling from a pile of metal a fleet of 747's. Now multiply the odds against that random happenstance by ten million and that approximates the odds the universe was randomly created.

As a true man of science i have rejected the atheist faith based religion that modern pseudoscience has become. Tell a little kid life spontaneously evolved from a rock and he will laugh out loud at you....because a kid has more sense than a traditionally educated scientist who has been brainwashed by the reward/punishment of passing and failure.

While I don't claim to understand it fully , i know the universe has a conscious, and some of us are part of it but you're not. That's why you're an atheist. You think you're the only creator, and you're a fool

I did not mention evolution.Christians assume if you dont believe in god you must believe in evolution.I dont know how everything came to be but religions views on this are simply fairy tales .

I know no ones going to acknowledge it because that's not how this forum works, but I was te person who started the "get a brian, moran" 'meme' with a typo. I was hounded by shills who were trying to 'debunk' me at the time and resorted to spell checking, and it caught on because they kept repeating it to humiliate me. Some humiliation, it ended up in the biggest selling video game of all time , GTA5, and my typo is immortalized forever.

Re: Bump for Jesus
It is interesting that you can so quickly dismiss the ridiculous aspects of other religions, but some how rationalize the ridiculous aspects of your own religion:

God the father begets a son who is somehow also the father but at the same time not the father to atone for Original Sin. The father sacrifices his son, which is really him, through a brutal death, which really isn't a death at all as it only lasts three days, and thus achieves humanity’s salvation. But the son, who is also the father, rises from the dead like any good zombie does. And the son's really bad three-day weekend, redeems eternally all who accept and believe that the ridiculous story is true.

A reasonable person would regard this as fiction. You don't. Instead, you choose to organize your entire life around the ridiculous idea.

Ancient stories of being born of a virgin, rising from the dead, and performing miracles, are not unique to Christianity and are really quite common. That should make a reasonable person question whether the stories are true. Not you. You not only claim the stories are true, but you are absolutely CERTAIN of their veracity.

There are thousands of gods one could choose to worship. You choose to worship just one. But your god really isn't that special or unique. Most of the world doesn't worship or believe in your god. And when you choose to believe in the supernatural, there are no limits on what is a god and what is not. As you know, your god exists because you believe it does. Look at YouTube and you will see many other people that believe they are prophets of gods or gods with powers to heal, levitate, read minds.... These people and their claims are just as legitimate as your religious superstition - if you believe in the supernatural.

Religion has always been a means to control others just like any other dictatorship. Your dictator just happens to be invisible. But he watches everything you do, listens to everything you says, prescribes exactly how you should think and act, and threatens to punish and kill you if you step out of line. All of this is true of contemporary dictators and it is true of the "god" you blindly follow.

Unfortunately, you choose to live life in a world of make believe, where logic and reason have no value. So in your world, asking you what magic your god can do is a legitimate question. Most reasonable people would regard the question absurd. Not you. So it is unlikely you will realize that your superstitious beliefs are no different then those of clairvoyants, card readers, and medicine men, and that real dictators are just like your fictional dictator.

But thankfully, Contemporary religious superstitions are taking their last gasp of air and will soon find themselves keeping company with other ancient beliefs we now refer to as mythology. The strength of religions has always arisen from their ability to control the information, and in turn, the message. Without countervailing arguments, religions have made believers out of non-believers and kept the faithful content.

But those days are over. The digital/information age has ushered in the unlimited and immediate access to reliable information. At the click of a mouse, one can learn the intricate details of the theory of evolution or fact check outrageous religious claims. The curtain has been lifted exposing religions' logical inconsistencies. While "faith" was enough to satisfy the curiosities of primitive Iron Age civilizations, today's generation demands facts. And that is something religions can never deliver. So prepare to celebrate religions' death as it will finally free our civilization and allow it to move forward, unhindered by the dogmatic and irrational beliefs of ancient superstitious cultures. And that is why, globally, the number of those claiming to be religious has dropped by 9 percent from 2005 to 2011, while the number of people identifying themselves as atheists has risen by 3 percent.

Jesus said, "Whoever discovers the interpretation of these sayings will not taste death."

"Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel, and will rule over all."

"The Pharisees and the scholars have taken the keys of knowledge and have hidden them. They have not entered nor have they allowed those who want to enter to do so. As for you, be as sly as snakes and as simple as doves."

"Show me the stone that the builders rejected: that is the keystone."

"Whoever drinks from my mouth will become like me; I myself shall become that person, and the hidden things will be revealed to him."

And thus..

1) You are convinced YOU are right and all the others are wrong.

2)You are now certain..and voice this much and as often as you can..that the ones who are "Wrong" will be tortured forever by the bi polar sadistic god you worship.

3)You now use fear and terror to control those you speak to and preach to..

EG:-"You tell others to Do as this law/teaching/guru/pastor/book/priest/sermon ect suggests or you will be cursed/burned alive forever/smitten/come under demonic attack/end up possessed/ ect.

4)You are now controlled..your money.. your mind.. your actions/words/life/emotions and you feel lots of guilt and fear as "punishment" when you dont tow the line.

5)You are all about money..it always comes down to CASH..and if you dont hand it over they label you a "God robber"..you are robbing God..and thus come under the punishments/threats made in point 3.

6)You use "LOVE" as the bait to get people in..mixed with "Fear" of some sort of terrible DOOM if they dont join your religion. Once you have them the LOVE stops..and the DOOM incraeses..and now your victims are left as mindless fear controlled zombies..arrogant and proud and self righteous just like you are..who then being fully "Indoctrinated" as you are after a time...now beleives point 1 completely..and proceed to inflict steps 2 to 5 on other prospective victims.

The cycle of the illuminati grows.
