There REALLY IS something strange in western sky around sunset...!!!

I was a complete skeptically until today. I wish you could have seen what I saw. I still cant wrap my head around it.

It looks like a second sun....period. I saw it. I cant think of any kind of optical distortion that could have created it either....not saying there isn't one.

My stomach was in my feet when I got the 8 inch telescope on it!!!!

Very good point AC, I've never heard anyone report having that feeling while looking at Venus, myself included, only awe. I get a weird, creepy feeling looking at this thing.

I'm telling you, it felt ominous......it felt like DEATH.

I hate to say it, but it's the truth. Wait until some high res photos come out.

As I said earlier, I advise diapers.

I'm with you Sweden, we are eternal, this is one big adventure. I can hold the space for all that and STILL get a doomy feel looking at this. Its not huge doom, more like strange.

No, Ison is viewed in the morning before dawn, in the Eastern sky. This is from a mountain top in Hawaii facing west. I don't know exactly what it is.

The top part of the image looks like lens flare of the main object. That site doesn't give much info, just the picture.

Reminds me of a discussion I heard somewhere, that people who see ufo's have different DNA, meaning, they are 'designed' to see them, maybe depending on what star system you hail from.

Somebody made a calculation about the Mayan thing. In the gregorian calender 0 is not a number. But for Mayans 0 was a number.

Yes, hopefully, its just a matter of time before some of these advanced skills kick in. Even now, its amazing that the Human eye can see a star millions and millions of miles away. Or that on a good viewing day, you can see a sunspot 93 million miles away on a hot gaseous body. Wild.

I myself have atempted to look tonight, but as stated previously, cloud cover made it not possible.

I stated at venus as at the start of this thread, people were looking at venus
people moved on and posted some images of something else, a bloby ice cream type thing in the sky, that did not look like a comet or planet.

After that it was comtrails, whatever they are.

I challanged posters in favour of this object being something strange to post some 'resnoble' pics, to further this from iv seen this! To what id this?

Now some pictures have emerged that i simply dont understand, which is intresting!
I dont know what that is Isis; as in i have no idear what im looking at!
Unclear, unfocused and un-identifiable
lets focus on the unidentifiable part for good messure in this thread!
My mind is open!

but il admit, it may be!!

There is no refrence point to idetentify with these pictures
