while astro and geo are busy inflating their egos elsewhere I have been doing some research on Hurcubus and the fact that it would be plainly seen but that everyone would be told, that is a Known Star ... in this case Venus (or others)
in GLP we are being told that everything we see at sunset is a contrail
does Venus "rise" in the sky in the same place for months on end? because this hugely bright "star" that I have been watching rises at the same place EVERY NIGHT - gets BRIGHTER every night and doesn't "move" across the sky - it just sits there for hours on end and then just vanishes --- so that AIN'T VENUS ... as this website indicates ... VENUS MOVES
i was just going to ask the same question re. venus.
i'm in the rocky mtns. i too see a very bright "star" in the western sky every evening 7-7:45 pm. it's been in the same location since was aware to look for "something strange...", going on maybe 6wks now.
doesn't venus change locations?
does anyone know if this phenomena would not be visible because of the mtns? in other words, is it only view-able from coastal areas?
