Quoting: SUROH4711 Give it a few weeks and it will be back, this time on the right of the sun. :8tzgft: That should give people enough time to buy quality cameras and then learn how to operate them. Do you mean like you? vvvvvvvv My lens was malfunctioning last night, so my photos turned out terrible. This was unfortunate because I had perfect viewing conditions again and all I saw was Venus shinning bright in the SW sky. Quoting: Setheory 22372062 [link to imageshack.com] The hike was beautiful, so if I do it again tonight, I will take my good camera and get some better photos. Nice pic (not) Way to follow up (not) Solid evidence you saw nothing but Venus (not) Try pointing your camera a little more to the right next time... |

I picked up my camera yesterday from the repair shop. Sadly, I had to but a whole new lens. The hike was nice last time, so I don't mind taking some additional photos. And when they show nothing, I'm sure you will do the standard rationalization exercise or claim I'm a government shill. |

How about if you rationalize what prevented you from going back with your good camera like you said you would? Simple task yet for someone so obsessed with a thread about something you know for a fact isn't there it's a real wonder why you or your sympathizers never made the heroic effort to obtain and post pics weeks ago to help prove it's not there. And don't bother dredging up the Doc's useless video. The only way you could get a much shorter line of sight to the horizon would be by burying his telescope up to the lens in sand. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 49220424 India 10/31/2013 05:45 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It is NOT venus(you can see that clearly to the left/higher) Quoting: ok 7875900 It is NOT mercury(can hardly be seen @ all, certainly doesn't have disc like appendage) You can not see anything unusual with eyes only, HOWEVER with a pair of binoculars you can see a round, reddish object as bright as Venus BUT with something CLEARLY protruding from it that is disc like but open ended. A sort of "V" shape to it... The left side appears to be more prominent. I've checked it out last two nights and can hardly believe my eyes. All articles I read state you can NOT see the rings of Saturn with just binocs; its too far for that. Plus the "V" shape part is larger then the object; it is vice versa with Saturn. I've seen saturn through a proper telescope and it was tiny, its rings even more so. Please if you are in usa/canada or other northern latitudes, check it out, near sunset WITH binocs @ least. I can't believe this but it looks just like the images of what niburu is supposed to look like, the winged disc!!! Craziest thing I've ever seen, right up there with hale bopp or green lightning or intense aurora action. I am sort of willing to believe it's Saturn due to local, appearance but doesn't seem possible @ all(way too much detail for such weak/generic binoculars! It doesn't even say the mag power on them.)!!! AND The rings are NOT open ended The rings are NOT more prominent then the planet/object Again it is NOT venus, observed it shorlty later/unmistakably. Mercury might of been the winged messanger but does NOT actually have wing/disc like appearance to it ever. Will attempt images tomorrow. It is a very basic and simple proof! is it so hard to provide in 233 pages? |
andreidita User ID: 49217374 Romania 10/31/2013 09:47 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | do not forget when you gaze at the object that in a couple of days Venus will be aligned with the Galactic Center Then it's the perfect moment to do your thing |

While I could not astrometrically solve that image due to its quality, I was able to recognize some of the star configurations. On the top left, it looks like you have a couple stars from the Constellation of Sagittarius (Delta Sgr. & Gamma 2 Sgr.) . Additionally, it looks like Iota 1 Sco., Kappa Sco. and Shaula Sco. are visible in the bottom left corner of the image. That would put your bright “object” between Sagittarius and Ophiuchus, just above Scorpius. This is the current position of Venus. |

Whenever Venus is prominent in the evening sky you get these exact same threads. It's not rocket science to figure out what's going on. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 43863146 I've been reading here for years also and it doesn't take very keen perception or a whole lot of reading to discover this thread isn't about Venus or some random star in spite of the multiple times photos of and discussions about them that have been posted in it. Regardless how much some people try to make it out to be this thread is not about Venus. |
