Bright Pink Meteor and the Neighborhood Animals Acting Crazy! O.o

Aww... Bummer. It was definitely a sight to behold! :) ... and it lasted for about 3 seconds, which is long compared the usual ones I see... which only last for like a second or less.

As far as the animals, I was listening to the broadcast from the ground zero show for 9/27 tonight, and a police officer called in and said that his friend's 4 year old police dog fell over dead when a meteor flew over their house. The owner was with the dog when this happened. It could have been a prank, but the guy sounded legit. My point being, that it appears that animals may pick up on more than just sound, maybe some sort of pressure or something?

Your welcome! You might like the show from 9/23 on the Pink Stars are falling too. It was a code name for a guest regarding Puerto Rico occurrences and meteors also. It is very interesting, but of course must take it with a grain of salt. Lol. I listen to his shows when I am doing other things rather than watching TV so much.

I'm out side and it is a thick darkness all around me.
I can't see the sky to good, stupid trees all up in my way. Calm night, chills run around my skin but still " I DON'T SEE SHIT"
The only noice in the darkness is from up the road right next to the rail road tracks. I don't know what they are building but 2 days ago they started building something and they have a bright spot light set up and they have been working all day and night. They are sure making it hard to sleep and look for doom. Why are they working this late? Dont they know the goverment is shut down? Dont they know ison is up in the sky speeding around? Who the hell is paying them? Why right next to the rail road tracks? Well, I'm. Off to bed, no doom tonight!
There's always another day to look and wait for the doom!

It is very simple OP...the collective animal ruckus and abrupt quiet is their way of telling each other to...STFU.

It happens quit often, some wild animal is having a bad go at something and the rest of the wild world that is listening in have to give their two cents worth leading to a lot of noise and then wham...STFU.

Kind of like what goes on with GLP...eh!

I live in the northeastern U.S.. About 4:45 am this morning (10/1), I was outside admiring the crystal clear skies and the billions of stars. (For whatever reason, they haven't been spraying our skies for the last few days and it has been beautiful, night and day.)

Since I live right on the coast, I was looking east, but up. This is where it gets weird;

I was looking at some patch of stars. They were not remarkable. They were not as bright as many others. They all appeared to be stationary and then one of them just...well...fell.

It was in the sky like a regular star and then it began to slowly fall down toward the water line, away from its companion stars.

We have had a few meteor doozies around here recently, and I had the opportunity to see a few of them...they were AWESOME! But this wasn't the same.

Like I said, I was staring at that patch of stars for nearly a minute before that star moved. And when it began to fall, it didn't change color or increase in brightness or anything else. It just fell beyond the horizon, probably well beyond our atmosphere, perhaps millions of miles away.

I don't know. I am still trying to figure out what I saw. After I watched it disappear, I kind of looked around at the sky in a panic, half expecting to see the other stars fall out of the sky. Nothing. No sound. No impact. No blaze of light. That star was just gone.
