hey I think i found something relevant (if you believe in antipodes)... checking White Island I can't help but notice it's really close to Spain and the recent quakes there which seem unusual.. feel free to debunk or comment!

The GNS official alert bulletin says it was "explosive" that is not just steam. It says it was the most significant since the activity commenced a few months ago.

Far from doom. White Island has always been an active volcano.. having periods of inactivity and then bursting back into life again,

I take it you live close to White Island. Good luck, keep burying your head in the sand until it blows right up.

Lol White island wont do anything of relevance. Worse case scenario a major eruption causes an ash cloud that re route flights.

Now Taupo....... If that wakes up it might show yellowstone whats up o.O

White island tries to have eruptions. But its pressure burses usually along undersea vents and miles of pumice gets created when the lava hits the sea. That's what white island does when serious stuff goes down.

There is just too many caverns connected to white island one of them always bursts before all the lava bursts out the top.

Quite right. I lived in nz most my life until after christchurch quakes and White Is rumbles a bit. However last week it did flick some mud around a couple of times and folk reported seeing emissions/eruptions from the main land before data was released.

Anyway, OP was on the money I reckon.
