be any pictures to verify your thread because of the
gov shutdown...PLUS NASA wouldn't release proof of
what McCanney is saying even if they DID HAVE PICS!
So...it is a "Catch-22" for you regarding proof.

All that I can say is that I've followed McCanney's
research and many radio interviews since the late
1990's and the guy is RIGHT ON with his theories.

Does anyone have any idea how Mars developing
"comet" qualities may affect us here on Earth? Or

The government is not the only entity that can take pictures of Mars. There are no pictures to verify the thread because the thread is BS. Photos of Mars show that it has NOT turned into a comet, it's just BS.

Firstly .. no one said mars had a tail.. the passing of comet Ison has created a coma around mars.. visible to the naked eye in the morning sky as it rises here on the east coast of Oz..

Secondly... Jim Mccanney is a published astrophysicist and solved one of the longest and hardest running mathematical problems in math history

I would suggest you listen to HIM over Astroturd who is nothing but an AMMATURE Astronomer.. not an astrophysicist, nor qualified by any official standard in the field of astronomy

While astroturd has some insight and gives some good information, most of what he says is regurgitated nasa bs

Almost looks surrounded by a coma.

That's just how bright objects look in my telescope. A coma would give it a nebulous appearance instead. I looked at Mars with a range of exposures from perfectly exposed to this and no sign of any coma.

so what you are saying is you dont have a picture to settle this then and your just going with the 'fill in the lack of hard data with my own conjecture' routine i take it?

if no one on here doesn't have a telescope capable of taking a crystal clear image of mars (or even a new rover image), without a clear image of mars this can neither be debunked by astro nor confirmed by the OP

Until hard data arrives this discussion will be 100% hot gas.
