twice i've seen people purposely run down pedestrians killing some and injuring others. once at venice beach, and once at a santa monica farmers market. those drivers were not shot dead.

Well, if someone tried to run you over, and you had a conceal carry permit, and you shot them to keep them from running you over, wouldn't that be within your 2nd amendment right? Well, I would give the cops the same right to defend themselves.

You want to talk about the cops going overboard, there was a thread earlier about cops beating an old lady, breaking her orbital bone.....an unarmed old lady outside of her car doesn't deserve that no matter what.
