The "shutdown" is just an excuse to get people out National Parks without causing a panic.

But the reason for the shutdown may not be what we think. There has been much speculation that NASA was shut down for reasons other than what has been stated as well.

Haven't heard much about Yellowstone until there was a post about some recent swarms there lately...and now this post. The shutdown would provide a way to get everyone out of the parks and it's interesting that Fema 3 is prepped (out of the ash zone)

On a side note, I have family that live in the four corners area and I would never see them again (live in the upper Midwest) so this would be horrible.

The bible talks about a country that is destroyed in one hour...this certainly would do it. And there would be no more trading - ever.

Fear mongering it may be, you two, but have y'all or really anyone else considered watching the animals over there? Since Humanity as a species is so disconnected from Gaia Humanity won't ever know any impending natural disasters till said disasters up and happen. The intelligent thing to do here is instead of bitching about fear mongering, try watching the animals. If the animals start vanishing themselves asap then Yellowstone's truly about to explode violently. If the animals are acting as if nothing's out of the ordinary, let's just move on with our lives and think nothing of this stuff. Just continue living life as if it IS the end of the world though. Just without the paranoia that is. Hopefully at least one individual here will have a good or better day too.
