After spending over a week to get registered on the site, I belive the OP might be correct, so far all I have been able to do is get a user account with a password and enter some basic profile information.

I still have not been able to view or recieve any health insurance information.

I want to know who built this for Obama and how much they spent on his campaign! It was projected to cost $93 million and ended up costing $600+ Million AND STILL HAS NOTHING ON THE BACK END!!!!

But it didn't go away. Because it was never really there to start with. I did find it odd that I couldn't even sign up because there were NO security question options. How? Only thing that makes sense is no database.

Oh, I don't think it's a hoax for the purpose of data mining info on people. I believe it's a reflection of just how worthless many government employees are, from the top on down. Well, not all government employees, but the government organization is indeed worthless.
People better wake up to the fact that THIS IS A DIRECT REFLECTION of how YOUR HEALTHCARE AND YOUR PRIVACY will be handled by the government. Government employees do as little as possible at their jobs. It really baffles me how they even get employed. Anyone who has ever looked at a job description of a government job, whether it be local, state or federal, knows that there are numerous detailed job duties and required knowledge and experience usually consisting of a degree. Yet, these jobs seem to be filled by someone who just left the trailer park. If you have ever been to a VA hospital you know that other than the PC physician and nurse, all surgeries and special care are outsourced to private sector doctors. That's also the case with their maintenance department. They outsource most of the work. I think their maintenance department just mows lawns, changes light bulbs and mops floors. Yet they want you to have a degree in engineering or 10 experiance in a related field! It's a joke and no wonder nothing gets done and taxpayers pay up the ass. A whole lot of chiefs doing absolutely nothing and only a few little indians doing any work very likely unsupervised.
Once this government healthcare is fully in place for awhile, you will see less capable doctors performing your surgeries and diagnosing your care. The few capapble talented doctors still practicing will be private physicians serving the wealthy and elite in this country.

I think many people that have insurance already are logging on just to see what is offered. I think it is very unfortunate that one can't see what the plan offers and the price you pay, before the purchase. That's just wrong on so many levels. Might explain why Mickey mouse and Daffy duck are applying. I wouldn't put my real info in there either if I'm just shopping around.

A quote? I saw a list of the plans (without info on what it covered), age specific, different levels of coverage, and the monthly premiums. Are you saying that people can't choose from those listed plans, but that your price is different from the advertised price?

Seems an easy way to throw sand in their gears would be to flood the exchanges with phony names and information to get them stepping and fetching.

My best advice is stay away from these websites, in every way.

LET'S ASK OURSELVES: Who is using Healthcare.gov? The answer is people in states that don't have their own exchanges. This is nothing more than Obama giving payback to the citizens in states who can't get insurance through their own state's exchange due to their own state's refusal to participate in Obamacare. It's meant to put pressure on liberal voters to demand their states establish exchanges. It's a ploy.

This seems extremely plausible! An instant way for the govt to gain access to millions of people's personal info for their own purposes. Seems nothing I have read has an official start to finish enrollment success story. Great post OP!
