Does your family have multiple "bug out" or "meet up" options/places set up?
Way back... my Husband sat us all down (the kids and I) and gave each of us explicit instructions on WHEN, WHY, HOW, and WHERE to meet-up, in case of emergency, depending on what type of EVENT we may someday experience.

For example, if attacked from the North... A certain place.

If attacked from the East... A certain place.

If attacked from the South... A certain place.

If attacked from the West... A certain place.

If a certain type of explosion... Initial survival instructions, and then to a certain place.

Etc., Etc.

Just throwing it out there to see if others have multiple "bug out" options already pre-set in motion.... And do your loved ones know about it?

Answer here everyone.

And expose your plans.

The government will meet you on the way and help you.

I didn't ask anyone to expose where they are going... I am just wondering if they have thought about going to more than one place, depending on the type of EVENT.

Everyone in my family has their instructions.

Rally at the homestead.

Break out the weapons and vests.

Pick a location.

Wait until you can identify friend from foe.

Open fire until the threat ceases to be a threat.

In other words, we're not running.

Come get some.

No family, no problem.

Only concern would be a tsunami kind of thing for me... I guess I should buy a tent and some camping gear.

Re: Does your family have multiple "bug out" or "meet up" options/places set up?
I give each member a secret location where we are to tag up, then I am going to be anyplace but in those locations. Old as I am i would just slow them down and that may not be the healthiest thing that could happen.

Instead I have a bug-in bag. Turn off all the utilities to about 3 sq blocks and in the ugliest place near the middle you allow those utilities to be available. No food or water is ever kept there but within the perimeter there would be caches that are a few meals in size so if it is found the whole food supply is not removed.

Would it be fair of me to supply false reports of danger to the ones in that area I want for myself in the hopes they will vacate to some other spot? If I give them by bug-bag and say I will catch up is that a good move in that if they want the stuff they won't be coming back to find and help you.

Big boat, sink it, live inside with only one small entrance that is below the waterline.
Mind you a 65Ft McGregor water ballast sailboat would make a decent ride if the tank was filled with diesel fuel and a few jacked up engines that allow for planning speeds.

NO, because there's nowhere to hide from radiation, thus, NO point to it.
