Anonymous Coward User ID: 12713740 United States 10/10/2013 04:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Brief Brigade is bound to show up (as they always do) to smugly tell us the woman got what she deserved. Speaking of the aforementioned leader of the brigade, I watched a movie on Netflix last night that reminded me of him. The movie is called The Snowtown Murders, a true story about one of Australia's most notorious serial killers and his accomplices, who were apprehended in 1999. The leader of the crew was a vigilante bent on ridding Australia of its pedophile, gay, retarded, obese, drug-addicted, and otherwise unwanted population (by Him, at least). He did so by torturing and killing them. Quoting: HL Shancken The fuck you talking about, he pushed her...she may have been a bitch, who knows without the audio...or it could have been a door opening down the hall causing a rush of air, hell she doesn't weigh anything...but he pushed her for no apparent reason. shes a woman, she deserved it |
Stoned Goddess User ID: 6401780 Canada 10/10/2013 04:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The video is disturbing. The officer clearly used excess force. The situation does require some analysis though. She is very likely drunk. This probably made the fall more likely to happen and the impact worse as she was less likely to put her arms up in defense. Quoting: luridanimus Should the officer get in trouble and the city sued, certainly. The officer should not be so demonized, however. Consider the situation and the similar situations they see regularly. If we don't extreme behavior from the police, we can't be so extreme in punishing their mistakes. Yes that's one thing, but such force is not even close to necessary for a 110 pound woman that isn't exactly being a roughhouse. Like I said, the officer should be punished, or sued, but we don't need to act like the officer is the devil himself and wish or desire a harsh punishment for what is very likely a mistake and not intentional. I tend to wish for harsh punishment for abusers. Did you see the pics? A grown man did that to a very petite woman. That's no honest mistake. :smokin1: |

I look at that video and I see a woman who is resisting the officer, and as a result she ends up doing a face plant into a concrete bench. DO NOT RESIST and these things don't happen. Spot on. The tards sticking up for her probably crims It's this kind of bullshit mentality that gets you into trouble in the first place. Is this why they screen out potential candidates that have high IQ's, and take those who are less than 100? It's NOT us versus them ! You are there to serve and to "protect", and that includes the care of those who are in your custody. People are getting tired of hearing and seeing this kind of policing; it's on par with gestapo mentality, and if you don't think so, ....get a different job...please ! It's getting to the point that people will stop calling police when they need to, just because of the negative consequences of doing so. Doesn't that bother you? Good post, but it doesn't bother these sociopaths because they get off on abuse and see cops as legitimate which makes them real heros in their juvenile minds. Not all cops are bad apples. It just seems that stories like these are getting a lot a media lately, ever since Rodney King. I wouldn't be surprised if a few in his detachment have taken him to task over this, and don't think that this doesn't happen. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6456278 DUIs deserve the death penalty as far as I'm concerned. Don't forget the context. If her carelessness had killed your family, you would be pissed off, and you would be wondering why the cops hadn't arrested her. I don't condone police brutality. No one does. But I imagine they get frustrated having to deal with the same assholes over and over, every time criminals, crazies, and drunk drivers are released from the institutions, where they belong. However, it may be that police culture no longer deals with excesses among its own people as well as it used to in a more civilized era. It could just be that these things are more frequently reported. |

This behaviour might not bother you due to the nature of the crime... but that does not make it an OK theme for treating everyone who is under arrest. Some people are innocent too. In fact, everyone is innocent until proven guilty. :smokin1: |
