Armchair Philosophy (cosmic consciousness)
"Everything in this universe is the smell of burnt almonds"

That simply means any possible vibration implies all others. This is what they mean by interconnectedness. Everything depending on everything else. No snowflake ever falls in the wrong place. And any place in this world is the perfect place to be. There is no such thing as a superior state of being or a inferior one.

Such state of consciousness of seeing the world in this way has been recorded since the beginning of time. The mystical experience, cosmic consciousness, beatific vision, shekinah, satori, awakening, the oceanic feeling, call it what you will. How you interpret such an experience will depend on your background and view of the universe. Because there are those that will claim they are God, Jesus, a messiah, they misinterpreted this experience. Their Ego became inflated and apt to put on the holy and divine act.

Many schools have existed where training was acquired in how to interpret and use your experience. But not any teachers of attaining this experience. Anyone claiming they know the way to enlightenment is a snake oil salesman.

Re: Armchair Philosophy (cosmic consciousness)
This is what happened to Jesus, but he probably didn't have means to express it correctly in his days and his culture. To come out and say I'm God in his culture was a big no no. If you realize your God than its quite obvious everyone and everything else is as well. So if Jesus said he was God in the Hindu culture, that would've been perfectly normal, to announce that you're God. The Hindu idea of God is very different from the Abrahamic version of God.
