Quoting: Anonymous Coward 48344953 It was this one: Thread: Several Jets Scrambled From Andrews AFB - Several Incoming Bogeys From Space Descending On East Coast somewhere in there someone said nice pic - havent i seen you on a farm. Well, you can imagine how i assumed they were saying i must look like a cow or something, bahaha! in hindsight, yes it is very funny. :malefav: I love this place!! |

Otherwise, you're super pleasant and touched my heart a few weeks ago, kind of in the same way you got it today. Hope your pain goes away. Quoting: New Age Messiah Oh no! What's wrong? Isn't it amazing how dealing with pain can make everything else seem just a little bit harder? Mine likely wont go completely away. It is chronic after all. But i am hoping my dr will finally send me for xrays so i can beat him over the head with my old diagnosis and get a new one that fits better, haha. :malefav: I love this place!! |

Quoting: green_girl If it's just a little bit, then that's good. Too true! I am lucky, i know a lot of people in worse shape than me! But this time it just got to me more than usual - so the laughs and warm fuzzies I got today couldn't have been better timed! I gave out all my day's worth of green karma, and tomorrow and the next day I will do the same! I guess I just want everyone to know to never underestimate the importance of a compliment that you have paid - you just don't know how much it might have been needed and appreciated. :malefav: I love this place!! |

I myself have had some terrible health challenges, of varying degrees of suffering, and sometimes, incapacitation, but I always say, as long as I'm not in pain, I can sleep, I can eat, I can be coherent, I can walk, that is a great day - so I can relate, the pain is a tough one, indeed. When you lose your health, all else seems unimportant - we take for granted what a HUGE blessing it is in life just to be physically "normal" - so many take it as a given, but to many - it is a priceless "gift". You have given me a valuable reminder to be thankful for the parts of me today that are working OK! |

Quoting: green_girl I have been having a very hard couple of weeks, as some on here may have noticed me mentioning in various threads. I deal with chronic pain, and two weeks ago it ramped up. There are literally HUNDREDS of things that can be helpful for chronic pain. Here are two simple easy to implement things to start with. 1) Vitamin D MUCH pain can be relieved with large amounts of Sunshine and Vitamin D “Researchers in England discovered that patients with chronic pain have phenomenally low vitamin D levels.” Ann Rheum Dis. 2005 Aug;64(8):1217-9 How: I don't know your vitamin D status but the Average person in NA has a VERY LOW vitamin D level. Unless you have been getting a lot of summer sun you are probably low. If I were you I would take 50,000 IU of vitamin D3/day with your largest meal, for a week. If this helps you will be motivated to look into vitamin D and pain. [link to healthyprotocols.com] 2) Water “According to Doctor Batmanghelidjs, the body may use pain to warn us that dehydration is the basic cause of many illnesses, including: Rheumatoid Joint Pain: Rheumatoid arthritic joints and their pain can be viewed as subtle indicators of water deficiency in the affected joint cartilage surfaces. Back Pain: Low Back pain and Ankylosing arthritis of the spine may be signals of water shortage in the spinal column and disc. Proper hydration of the disc (water filled) may lead to better water cushions that support the weight of the body. Asthma: During dehydration, the body releases histamine. Histamine constricts the airway with the purpose of conserving water loss in the form of vapor during the normal respiration process. Gastritis, Duodenitis, and Heartburn: All these conditions are associated with dyspeptic pain. Dyspepsia is the "thirst pain" signal of our body and signifies a water shortage in the upper part of the gastrointestinal tract.” Doctor Michael Lam MD How: In brief drink enough GOOD pure plain water until your urine runs crystal clear. IMO drink NOTHING, well salubrious things like coffee and tea excepted, but good water. [link to healthyprotocols.com] [link to healthyprotocols.com] |

I think my d levels are close to adequate. they do get checked. It is my b12 that tends to deplete for some reason. And while i drink lots of water, it usually has coffee grounds in it, lol. I am thinking the pain is rheumatoid at this point. My dr dx'd me with fibro, but i have never felt that to be right. Now some of my joints are out of shape. Maybe now dr will take me seriously. And you know what, tomorrow I will try to drink more water! :malefav: I love this place!! |
