The Nephilim & My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic
I already know that the show is Masonic themed. I even noticed that one scene where they show the Bohemian Club logo w/ the owl, in that episode where Spike is worried about being outshined by the owl that Twilight befriends.

The subject of this thread pertains to the episode where they all got together to reenact the (fictitious) historical founding of Equestria in a pageant play. It showed a social climate where the different races of Ponies were in a cold war with one another and had a disposition of enmity toward ponies not of their group. Almost like the legendary space battles that the Gods and Giants had in the mythology in places like India and in the Irish and Greek legends. Or in Genesis, where God says he(or it) is going to place enmity between the seeds.

Is there anyone else who sees a possible extraterrestrial undertone in the show? There are three kinds of pony races in the show. The basic plain ones are referred to as the "Earth Ponies." And then there are the Pegasus that live in the sky among the clouds, have wings, and can fly like our modern conception of the Angels/ or the 600 Elohim; and they can also control the weather. All of which are classic things that we associate with gods. They were portrayed has having very masculine tendencies and being very competitive as a group.

And what about the Unicorns? They have horns that allow them to perform telekinetic tasks like a Jedi. The 300 Fallen Angels in the Book of Enoch (pronounced "Anak") are sometimes referred to as, "The Horned Ones." The special association that they have in the show, to secret knowledge and magic, gives them kind of an Alchemy (secret serpent knowledge) link. The Unicorns were also shown to have a very high opinion of themselves, and believed they were exceptional to the non-Unicorns.

There were also the much rarer "Alicorns," who were a cross between Pegasus and Unicorn, and had the abilities of both. Possibly intended to show that the top of the Pantheon is related to both sides, or perhaps simply to present the Celestia character as the Primordial Deity from whence all the differentiation came between the different groups?

Needless to say, that the Earth Ponies would represent us.

And last, but not least, is the Satanic themed Discord character (my favorite antagonist) that's voiced by the same actor that played Q in Star Trek. John De Lancie always had a habit of playing a character relating to the Devil or with damnation, just like in that one Twilight Zone episode from the 80's.

For everyone's convenience, here's the episode:

And please, no rude comments.

Actually, you make a lot of excellent points and insights.

I could say so much about the show and the occult symbolism and deeper meanings behind them... but as a card carrying pegasister, I am sworn to secrecy.

However, you may enjoy an old thread I posted on a different cartoon series, that was not subtle at all about what it was trying to say.

Re: The Nephilim & My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic
Hurricane is actually a word that derives from the name of the Mayan Storm God, Huracan. Later he became assimilated with the Aztec Trickster God, Tezcatlipoca. Was there an intentional veiled allusion to the god of the same name, with regards to Rainbow's role in the play?
