It starts out way too high, and moves downward until it disappears behind the mountains, every night.

It's been foggy as hell the past few nights in Vancouver.

Whereabouts are you viewing this from? What general area?

Instead of saying stupid shit like that, just look for it in the sky yourself. I'm not the only one who's seen it. It's in plain sight. This isn't some exclusive discovery I've claimed to make. All I did was take pictures of what everyone else has been witnessing and talking about for the last two weeks.

Why imediatly after sunset is it pitch black dark with no stars?

It wasn't pitch black. Full moon, lots of light pollution from the city, as well as from the recently-set sun. The exposure settings on my camera may also have something to do with it. It's like when you take a picture of the sun, the blue sky turns black on your camera. I can see a few stars in some of the pictures, but not much.

What's with the Australians? These don't look like photoshop or paint productions.

My point in posting wasn't to present a new discovery. Many people have already seen this and posted their own pictures. It was for those people.

These guys can doubt all they want. It doesn't change what I, and many others, already know from firsthand experience.

3 nights ago after a blackout I woke up at about 5am & went outside to see what 'damage' was done. I was looking North East & saw a big orange 'star', which I thought automatically was actually a Planet! (It was huge!!!) I kept looking into the North & saw an object traveling West to East with NO lights but was silver/grey in color & would NOT have shown up on any camera or video as I would never have had time to run inside to grab either!!! I am a 'believer', but this was very, very weird!. It was half circular, grey/silver but was very feint & I don't believe it would have been 'captured', on film no matter if I was filming it!
I have seen 4 'POSSIBLE', UFO';s in my 43 years but this was TOTALLY different!!!! I WILL admit this could have been a man made, man piloted vehicle :)

OP, couple questions:

Did it look as red to the naked eye as in the photos?

Did ever change color, shape or size?

Did it appear to move?

It was orange to the naked eye, maybe slightly less than in the photos. Never changed color or shape, and didn't move (except behind the horizon after 30 mins). I've witnessed this every few nights for the last two weeks.

There are quite a few videos on youtube where people have used night vision to tape the night sky and there is a LOT of stuff out there that isn't ordinarily visible.

I think I may have seen it, more than once, but only briefly because there are a ton of trees around where I live so the horizon is obscured. I'm going to make a point of looking for it again!

I miss the days of sleeping on the trampoline in the backyard when I was a kid, and staring up at the sky all night. You see a lot of moving things up there if you just stare for a long time.

I think that new object would cause the Sun to grow bigger soon, due to a telepathic message I just received: Thread: I saw entities while in sleep paralysis hours ago; they told me telepathically, "Between November 9 to November 28, sun will grow bigger"

Ok OP, I do have to say that I too see the same occurrence in the eastern, Australian sky early morning just prior to sun rise.
Tried to track it in stellarium but the closest I thought would be is Mars, even so Mars does not look like that with the eye or
though the scope. I will also try to capture this though my scope in the upcoming days.
