Something strange is happening

I may have to go out soon but if not I would keep an eye on it for sure.
It may be nothing but then again who knows.

Please enlighten us on why smoke or steam coming from a meltdown reactor is strange?

I'm going to go out on a limb here. But considering that a reactor is in full meltdown, it doesn't seem too much of a stretch, or insanely outside of the norm, to have the occasional puff of steam or smoke coming out of it. Call me crazy but...that just doesn't seem too strange to me.

It looks to me like moisture, maybe steam or fog, is forming and evaporating on the video camera lens. I don't know though.

After watching for a few more seconds it looks like rain drops are sometimes hitting the lens and dripping downwards.

No I didn't. I am a photographer and I shoot with a Canon camera.

I'm back. What I find unusual is that even with the typhoon the other day and all the times I have watched in the past I have never seen rain hitting the lens.
However if this is a huge quantity of steam that would explain it.
The way it looks now is just out of the ordinary and I have watched it for years.
It is a real shame that the other camera (JNN) is no longer working, so there is nothing with which to make comparisons anymore.
How convenient for Tepco.
