I saw this last week and took a look into it. If I lose my insurance, this is what I'm getting.

IT IS $5000.00 not $500.00

Still way less than the Obamacare deductible.

I checked into this a few months ago, but I have a pre-existing oondition that they won't cover, which has been true with any other insurance up until the new ACA. Otherwise, I would have gone with it.

Does this not bring up a red flag to you? Isn't there a place in the bill where you have to get a chip?

Christian's who sign up will be required to acquire this mark??

There's a lot of risk and BS involved, but I suppose it could just come down to a matter of principal.

Believe it or not, I don't qualify either. How ironic.

Including what is the purpose of the exemptions?

Is it truly to accommodate those who are "conscientious objectors" or is it a way to easily identify those who won't comply?

Remember, if you have an exemption, you go in a database as part of that group.

Do they check that you show up in church or are you legit if you just pay the monthly bill and claim to be born again or whatever?

why don't you qualify?

That's what i'm wondering. How could they possibly know all of that? I would assume it is honor system and about making your best attempts at a pure lifestyle. Just when you come up with a smoking related illness, fatty liver from drinking, or HIV from rando sex don't expect them to help you. They probably do check for membership in a church though.

Actually, I love the CS attitude regarding organized medicine, but I can't abide the thing about christianity, and the lack of drug use. I'll become a CSINO. Why not - we have a fake president and fake government, so I'll have a fake christianity.

My understanding of these types of policies is that LOCAL christian groups may require you to meet with them, or be known to them if you belong to their group - meaning they will know if you are just joining it to avoid ACA, or if you are truly a practicing christian.

BTW - is this a CHRISTIAN thing (there ARE christian insurance policies, where everyone helps share the expenses for everyone else - explaining WHY they can't afford to cover those with pre-existing conditions), or a christian SCIENCE thing?
