A student should be allowed to bring lunch from home regardless of a medical condition which would prevent them from eating the "crappy" school lunches. I have a 13 year old and he brings a packed lunch frequently. I am in Virginia too, Stafford County Public Schools. |

Momdot.com: Dear parents, I have received word from Federal Programs Preschool pertaining to lunches from home. Parents are to be informed that students can only bring lunches from home if there is a medical condition requiring a specific diet, along with a physicians note to that regard. I am sorry for any inconvenience. If you have questions concering this matter, please contact Stephanie[redacted] the Health Coordinator for Federal Programs Preschool at[redacted] . .I AM FUKING SPEECHLESS........... Quoting: drifter 38309425 Fortunately the is story has been debunked. The government has not banned homemade lunches. Visit [link to www.bunkreport.com] |

The Feds are dumping crazy money into the system to eradicate any local voice. [link to www2.ed.gov] They don't want you to feed your kid. They want to break the bond of parent child nurturing. Dismiss this if you think its extreme, but they study psychology. They are especially desirous to level the playing field. If the great family unit is providing lunches and the single parent home is needing assistants than they don't want the kids to perceive an inequality. |

Try it, priceless. I did. On another occasion.... I once had to pick my child up for a doctors appointment. I go in to check her out at the HS. It happened to be during lunch and they did not know exactly where she was at the moment. They do not have to be in the cafeteria and could be in several places. Which I understood and was no big deal really. I stated I would just call her, and the attendance clerk said if she was seen using her phone, they would take it away. I looked at her and point blank said, NO they will not. She gave me a look as if to say who do you think you are. I said in no certain terms that if they take her phone when I, the parent is on the other end, there would be hell to pay. Then she showed up knowing I was going to be picking her up. So I did not get to push the issue further. |

What if you decided that only feeding your kids a vegetarian diet is the best for them? They would die from malnutrition, as has already happened in the world. Parents rarely know what is best for their children. I hope that parents have less and less say in their children's lives next year. |

Right, LOL, I knew this comment couldn't have been from a red-blooded American. So sad you feel the government can raise your kids better than you, you're probably right on that matter given the above comment. I don't think you would make a great parent teaching blind pacifism and thoughtless compliance. No wonder your country is falling apart Frenchie. |

Boy did I reuse that note. Helps to know graphic design as well. Just saying. I also laugh every time someone asks for a copy of a receipt or a copy of a tax return, like for renting an apartment. |
