Went through that back in 1979 - lived in a house near a bayou. House was up on 8 ft pilings, thank goodness cuz we had about 4.5 ft of water under the house! Flooded the laundry room, floated the freezer & ruined all the seafood we had in it. Lost some things we were storing downstairs. But it was still a mess to clean up! But no water in the upstairs, thank goodness. Hope the worst of the water issues are over for you both!!! I need to grab a quick bite to eat and get ready for bed. I'm bushed!
