Re: Earthquake Thread ~ Always Updated*5.5 Afghanistan ~ Pg 20354
Ugh...I'm not quite ready to talk about it, but I could use some prayers. My family could use some prayers. My uncle John was found dead today at his place. He's the one who was really sick not all that long ago and was in the hospital and we didn't know if he'd make it. He's also the father of my cousin John who died last year. My guess is that he became septic again. He lives in New York, but was just here in MA a week or so ago. I didn't get the chance to see him when he was here, but Nef did and mentioned to me that his legs looked really bad. He was always one of my very favorite people. I would send him 'I love you' texts every so often to let him know I was thinking of him and that I loved him. I don't do this with all of my family members. Not by a long shot. My papa is the only other one who gets those sporadic love you texts.

Anyway, I'm sad. My heart is heavy. Feeling weak this week. Need some strength.

Oh my gosh, Luis!!! That's an impressive orchard! My hubby loves fruit - he'd love to have all that! Most wouldn't grow here in West Texas though! You have a good climate for growing tropicals, for sure!

awesome....me loves sax and flute....hope you have lots of fun....hf

 Quoting: -Noahsdad-

I love a strong, loud, tight horn section that's right in your face. Oh man, so good. I also love a flute! Not my favorite wind instrument, but it can get down with the best of 'em with the right player. There would be no Jethro Tull without a flute, that's for dang sure. I own a couple of JT albums (actual vinyl). Good with coffee on a Sunday morning.
 Quoting: KickinIt

Another one with vinyl!! Hubby & I have close to 1,000 vinyl albums and 45's. Used to chill on Sunday morning listening to Don Williams, Johnny Rodriguez and Marty Robbins...and Doobie Brothers, Earth Wind & Fire, and quite a few other groups! We just loved music!
