I also love a flute! Not my favorite wind instrument, but it can get down with the best of 'em with the right player. There would be no Jethro Tull without a flute, that's for dang sure. I own a couple of JT albums (actual vinyl). Good with coffee on a Sunday morning. Another one with vinyl!! Hubby & I have close to 1,000 vinyl albums and 45's. Used to chill on Sunday morning listening to Don Williams, Johnny Rodriguez and Marty Robbins...and Doobie Brothers, Earth Wind & Fire, and quite a few other groups! We just loved music! Devinyl! I have a whole row of them along one wall in my bedroom :D Xx |

Seismic surface waves from a M6 earthquake in Costa Rica travelled 5770 km to a seismograph near downtown Victoria in just over 30 minutes! The next big one in that region won't be like 1811-12. Major oil, natural gas and shipping arteries will be thrown into chaos. And this area, in particular, follows the 206-year GSM cycle - so it could literally be any day now. Good lord I hope that doesn't happen in my lifetime. And if it does, I hope it takes me because I don't want to be around here for the aftermath of such a quake. It would be complete devastation. |

I haven't gotten alerts for any of these quakes today. Quoting: mistersplinter Time to try another... I have two of 'em, and neither are on top of the alerts. Not sure what the problem is. Both are free apps, so that might be part of it. Not sure why I resist paying a few bucks for an app, but I always go for the free stuff. |

I still purchase vinyl here and there, but the majority of it is from my youth. I feel like it's a time capsule of my life, and I'm forever thankful I had the sense to keep them. |
