I apologize if I mis-communicated. Nope, they are not normal by any means. I'm not using the full frontage of my quadriceps tendon full time yet. Kind of "walking around it" as it were. It's sort of walking using the rear muscles of my leg. There is a major difference in my center of gravity when I shift and put full weight on my right knee now. So much strength.

I'm strong enough to not use the cane. But work is still required for remaining strength to take a normal step shifting from rear to front. I am, however, almost there.

EDIT: Also, it should be noted the atrophy that plagued my right leg that I've had to work hard to overcome when I first removed my immobilizer brace for good in May 2017: [link to i.imgur.com (secure)]
