This is craziness lol! I showed my sister my leg and she goes 'you have the Disney rash!'. I'm like wtf is that?! She said she read about it on Pinterest while looking up Disney stuff. Sure enough she shows me pics of it, and yup! That's what I have. No question. Good Lord...of course! *ROLLS EYES*

The sun is my enemy. I just can't physically deal with it anymore. Sucks. But I obviously must carry on for the remainder of the vaca!

Change of plans big time too. Apparently the ONLY night we can go to that Halloween Horror Nights before we leave is Wednesday night. So now we're doing the Magic Kingdom tomorrow (which involves 'hopping' to two other parks as well).

I guess the only way to make this dumb rash go away is to go home lol. For real.

Disney Rash (also known as a few other names) [link to thepointsguy.com (secure)]

Looks like I have a huge hickey on my left inner ankle that turns into a rash going up my calf. It looks really bad right now actually. Like the blood vessels are right up to the top skin layer getting ready to burst and bleed down. It looks about 100 times worse than the internet pics of 'the Disney rash'.

Slightly concerned with the parks tomorrow and horror stuff the following night. Lots more walking in the heat/humidity.

Like wtf though?! I'm 36 years old! Why is my blood so fucked up?! I hate my meat sack. If I had ONE WISH, it would be for a new meat sack. No, I'm lying. That's selfish as fuck. That would not be my one wish if I had one.

This just sux is all. :\
 Quoting: Simple27

Never heard of 'disney rash', although it basically sounds lime a heat rash. Get some cortisone cream and that should help. At least it should make it feel better.
 Quoting: KickinIt

At least you don't have eczema. It's struck me really bad this year on the joints of my fingers. I've used probably 5 creams and nothing has helped. The only thing that is helping - and it's literally making the thing go away within 24 hours - is this one - HoneySkin Organics Ultimate Face & Body Cream. Unbelievable what it's doing.

Anyway. Two more relatively minor skills unlocked today (I guess you could say unlocked) as far as my knee is concerned:

1. For the first time in two years I am jumping off the ground -- although I probably should NOT be doing it yet...
2. I am finally walking with my right knee bent at 0 (zero) to 2 degrees without hyper extending.

Hell to the mutha freaking YEAH. I am continuing to monitor earthquakes as Yellowstone continues to (hopefully not) expand and the weird ones continue to happen. Eeeeeeek.

Hey Sim! hi

What are you doing here? You should be enjoying your va-cay!

 Quoting: Zeke38

We're a mess down here lol! Nef and my mini both got sick, mini's friend and I both just got our monthly nuisance this morning, I've got some weird heat rash or something starting on my left ankle and working its way up my calf and my legs are killing from all that walking yesterday lol!

A mess I tell ya! Luckily we're not going to another park until Wednesday. We'll be going to the Magic Kingdom. That should be fun, especially to see the reactions on my niece and nephew's faces. They are so freaking cute and make this trip even better.

On Saturday I had my niece in the pool and she fell asleep in her little float tube while I was swaying her back and forth in the water. So sweet. [link to imgur.com (secure)] I had to keep my hand under the little green pillow part or her chubby face would weigh it down into the water. tounge

But back to the point haha, today I'm having a GLP day. Not doing the pool, that's for sure. Might go out later, but I'm staying on the couch for a while. : )

Dammit girl, sorry to hear all this! Sounds like you're not letting it ruin your trip though, as it shouldn't. Also sounds like you somewhat needed a chill day, so that worked out well for today. You might have a heat rash, I know you're sensitive to the sun. Also, it's hot and humid there which doesn't help. Hoping it clears up soon.

The pic of your goddaughter is precious!

Simple, this really sucks and its kind of serious. You may have already posted this, I just got here but you might need to cut back on activity rest of the trip. Couple hours then back to a pool chair, couch or bed. Dr. Axe has a good write-up on it. I think we are all walking around with a sub-clinical, chronic case of Leaky Gut (due to soil lacking nutrients and food that is over sterilized, and poisonous).

Means food particles get into blood stream, are carried all over the body and cause inflammation (cause they're not supposed to be there). Blood vessels getting attacked by our own immune system. It can't hurt to talk to your immune cells that are on the war path, explain to them that your blood vessels are not the enemy and that they need to calm down.

Hate to say it, but you'll probably need some steroids. Check at a local medicenter tomorrow. I know they have side effects but I wouldn't mess around with this stuff. Also, maybe call one of your docs up here and see what they recommend.

Dr. Axe mentions it could be a virus as well. I think we are all getting weird virus activations. On the one hand they can be a good thing in that I suspect they activate dormant dna but on the other hand they have nasty side effects. Real radical approach would be to try an antiviral (valtrex, famvir, the meds for shingles) but most docs would not understand that line of reasoning.

As expected, it's much worse tonight. It was much hotter and more humid today than our first day at the parks. Awful. On all of us. Half of our group only ended up going to the Magic Kingdom today. The other half (my half) made it to two of the parks. The third one just wasn't an option by the time we finished the second. Way more walking today too.

I could NEVER live here. I really just want to go home. My leg looks terrible. Looks like it's actually bleeding now, although it isn't. Yet. And hopefully won't. Our tickets for tomorrow night (Horror Night) are already bought. No plans though for the day so I'm hoping it won't be too bad by tomorrow night. It stings. Pretty badly. The only reason I'm still awake. My mom gave me an Ambien. She's my hero and will be the reason I get some sleep tonight. Should probably take that now.

Did I mention I want to go home lol?

When my parents got back to the resort today from the park they couldn't get into their suite. These morans booked another family in my parents' suite! It disabled my parents' key cards. My dad was PISSED, and rightfully so! I think that other family actually got into their suite too. With all of my parents' stuff in there. Too many lazy, un-thorough people in this world. There was an issue last night too with their suite. Two security guards showed up saying that their suite was showing as empty/unoccupied. And was supposed to have been resolved last night. Well, apparently it wasn't. Don't mess with my dad. He's got an Irish temper these Floridians don't want to be on the receiving end of lol.

Gotta find some ruby shoes!

Ugh!!! Sorry to hear about your other troubles. No bueno.

I think my post is on the last page, but check out my suggestion. Quite a few people (including me) have reported significant healing effects from the cream.

This is my finger now. You don't want to see what it looked like two days ago - cracked, white, scaly, awful awful awful. And it's finally healing. I hope it's not all that bad, but if someone throws up...I'm sorry!
