Going to call it a night. Tomorrow is going to be a busy caking day. Got a little behind my schedule with too many headaches, so only have 3 days left. When you are making a big cake alone, it is all about timing, as you can't create a detailed cake in just a couple of days when you need many to make the little figures and details. Baked the cakes today and in the freezer they went - needs 24 hours minimum to set up and it makes them more sturdy and yes, more moist!!!

Zoom in over the USA including AK. There is that line again that bugged me yesterday or was it the day before? Day before, it was when the Colorado quake happened.

What is that?

The line from AK to the Arkansas quake today. You can see it a little better on

It did the same thing the other day and yes, YS was also in the mix with a 3.5 or something like that again. There was something around Washington also. The line actually starts in the Puerto Rico area, straight to AK

That line is bothering me as well. uhoh and yes, this is the second time it has done that.

Me too. I've been down a rabbit hole dealing with the nightmare that is Dell and Windows 8.1 for the past couple days. After my horrible experience I will be using neither ONE ever again.

I am going back to building my own PCs. I can build higher quality with my little pinky than they can with their entire company.

[rant off]
 Quoting: CuriousSeeker

Ugh CS, I am feeling your pain!! This has been the WORST week ever at my job! My computer crashed out of nowhere (ya, hmmm) on Saturday (when I'm not in), I had already pre-planned on taking Monday off (just in case, lol) and got back to the torture chamber, I mean office, yesterday to find a computer which could not be used, and which was also the company's "server." My computer acted as the company's server. So if/when my computer shits the bed, the company as a whole suffers. But naturally, I suffer most. Because the logic in that place is that I should be responsible for fixing the problem because I happen to work at the computer that is, and shouldn't be, acting as a server for the company's network folders/files. Over the years I have had to learn, on my own, how to work on computers...IT stuff. With zero background/school on these things it is extremely frustrating to have to learn it on your own. Takes longer than it should, which = wasted time. I have NO time to waste. The shit storm is still brewing in there because I have yet to get a new computer (how this is even a true statement blows my mind!) so we have been in a world of disaster there.

CS, I shit you not, it got so bad/intense there today that I texted my mother and asked her if I could temporarily move back home (after being on my own for years) if I truly needed to walk out today. The last time I felt the way I did today was when I was kept in the hospital overnight due to my heart rate. No joking, I'm having far more serious chest pains tonight than I was that night. But I'm not going to the damn hospital. I know that's stupid, but it is what it is. I'm not going. I won't even tell my mother because she would come pick my ass up and make me go. I just can't. That would only further stress me out.

Okay, rant over....I'm gonna go find me another rabbit hole to get lost in. chuckle

hugs
 Quoting: Simple27

I'd be just like your mother and have you GET IT FREAKING CHECKED OUT NOW. Screw the job. I know exactly how you feel regarding the job. I was at my wits end with my last one. Every week continued getting worse and worse with no bottom in sight. If I didn't get my new job it would not have been much longer before I walked out the door. I was starting to have physical pain just going to that job every morning.

Even though this has pretty much been my WORST week EVER at home my week at my job has been extremely amazing. I continue to get compliments on my depth of knowledge and quality of work week after week. It's totally completely different being around people who respect you and understand what you are capable of. And oh man the perks are pretty nice.

The pain has stopped. I get to wear jeans and tshirts instead of white long sleeve shirts and ties (ugh...I look so horrible in white). I can't say enough great things about my new place of employment.

I hope you feel better ASAP Simple, and that your day tomorrow is at least slightly better.

I shall soon be lost in another rabbit hole of building my new PC once I get all of the parts together. I have everything picked out and just need to confirm a few things before I pull the trigger.

hugs
