Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Re: Earthquake Thread ~ Always Updated*5.5 Afghanistan ~ Pg 20354 I don't think I've seen anyone post about this. This occurred in northern Indiana.
Experts talk about loud 'boom' heard and felt all over our viewing area Sunday night An unexplained “boom” is causing confusion across our viewing area, as we’ve had reports of homes shaking, a loud boom, and no visible sign as to what could have caused it.
People from Warsaw to Mishawaka and up into Michigan are describing a boom that occurred around 6:30 Sunday night.
Are more booms possible? Brownbridge says Sunday night’s wasn’t the only one.
“It sounded like it was like a block away. It was really loud. The one this morning kind of shook the house a little bit,” said Brownbridge.
More people have reached out to WSBT 22 Monday, saying there was more than one boom. [ link to wsbt.com (secure)] Quoting: KickinIt This needs a bump too! ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

Growing numbers of people report seeing flying red sphere off SC coast. Is it a UFO? A South Carolina woman says she filmed a possible UFO off South Carolina’s Kiawah Island on Christmas Eve, and other witnesses are stepping forward on social media to report they saw the same “beautiful red sphere.”
TV station WCBD posted Thompson’s video on Dec. 27 and reported four days later that the station had “received several emails from people who believe they may have also seen the mysterious object” in eastern South Carolina.
Even more people posted sightings on Facebook, including some who say they saw it in Ladson, North Myrtle Beach, Summerville and Edisto Beach, where someone told WCBD a room inside their home “lit up brighter than the full moon at about 6 a.m.” [ link to www.charlotteobserver.com (secure)] (lots of links in the article to the videos she shot, her original FB posts, etc) :hoveringufo: Quoting: KickinIt I'm going to SC in May. Quoting: CuriousSeeker I'm sorry my friend. I'm having the same type of shitty return this week. Completely overwhelmed. Come to find out we're moving again. Within the same town, but no one has brought this up to me. I found out through the grapevine a month or so ago, but no one from the office has said a thing. General manager has said nothing. Owners...nada. Monday morning our office is going on a field trip to the prison location. I hope this cheap prick has a plan in place for who is doing the physical/manual moving of everything. Taking desks apart, moving filing cabinets, setting up new phone lines and a new phone system, internet/network, reassembling of all office furniture, etc. Us girls did the physical moving during our last move in 2015. I didn't have the strength or energy then, and I most certainly don't now. The move itself is going to swamp me and me only while we can't get online and emails are building up. Every single day it's getting harder and harder for me to go back in. Extreme levels. The place is poison to my soul. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

This entire week has sucked on extreme levels for me as well. Ugh. It really is like a prison for my soul at work and I don't know how I can hold out for much longer. My boss, while a cool and great guy, doesn't understand some things about what I do and has made comments just yesterday that made me cringe. My boss being a cool and great guy has its perks, I guess, and I should not let it bother me too much. But it's hard getting the right traction going on some things when the boss has a fundamental misunderstanding of your profession. I've been in much worse situations so it's not all bad. Plus, I miss all of the new computer equipment that I have at home. My workstation totally does not compare in the slightest. That's the problem with being a super geek - you deck out all of your home equipment and then there's the problem of your work equipment and you have to be concerned with things like budget, etc. Aaaahhhhh, well. This weekend will be a much-needed refresher with no having to go anywhere or do any social shit that encompassed the last few days of my vacation. I can finally re-charge a little from this week. So, yay me. Also, I can tell at work that people are not exactly overjoyed to be back. It wasn't just me that had vacation - we all did. The office closed for the span of my whole vacation. |
