 Quoting: Simple27

Did you get a dent in your new car??
 Quoting: KickinIt

Noooooo, thank God!

The beginning of December was when I was trading in my previous lease with the dented hood. Paid some guy from Craigslist to 'do his best' with it, without having to replace the hood (and then paint it). Like $200+ and it still looked like shit lol. Luckily I've been leasing with Toyota for a long time now and my sales guy accepted the return of that dented mess without charging me anything further, but I'm sure I could've skipped the 'repair' I had done and saved myself a couple hundred bucks right before Christmas, and right after my daughter's 16th birthday.

Sorry CS, but glad to see you are being positive about it. For what it's worth, sometimes you have to just suck it up and do what they hired you to do and quit pushing to make your point, whatever that point may be. It doesn't always matter that you have more experience or know better, if the big bosses are being resistant, then that is your signal to let it go and just what they ask of you and not try to do more. If that's hard for you to do I understand, so in that case perhaps contract work or being self-employed is the way to go as you move forward.

either way, enjoy this time off to breathe.

Actually, in the meeting with the big boss he said he agrees with me on everything. And told me to be more aggressive. So, there was no resistance. The only resistance is by those who want to be lazy and want to coast. I don't. I want to work hard and be awesome at everything that I do.

Ok, well I guess I misunderstood something because it seems more than once you've mentioned resistance and lack of support from the higher ups in the past, despite emphasizing to them you could be doing more or doing something better than how the team was doing it. I know there were team issues and people on the team not taking your advice, but that's a separate issue from what I'm referring to here. That's one difficult part of teamwork, which again, makes me think you're better suited to do contract work where you make solo decisions.

I saw tweets about that OK EQ several minutes before it was posted. One of them was from some EQ-reporting twitter feed, who reported it as a 3.7. I tend to believe that, because there are several felt reports on twitter. Ex:
