Hi lovies,,just checking in...doing bush trimming, reading a couple thrillers, and moving slow as usual.

Wonder if CA going to start up afain ?

I saw that the Ridgcrest EQ happened at about 1:30 pacific time here so I came over here to see what happened. And helped out with some of the updates. I was not in the mountains and I did not feel it. Bummer.

It is actually Coso junction on Hwy 395 though. Coso is like the geysers in northern California only not as large of an area. Also it is on the North part of China Lake Naval Weapons Center property.

Sounds like you're keeping busy! Yes, interesting about Cali. Although, a 5.0 would not be abnormal after that big quake, even after all this time. Hoping it's just a regular ol' aftershock. That should send the energy to the east though, so maybe I'll see some action here in the midwest in a few days.

I tend to agree w/CAPS MAN, that Hawaii quake caught my eye. 4.1 is the largest they've seen for a while, and it was somewhat deep so magma must be movin' down there.

You know, I thought when you posted it you said you DID feel it, but I now just re-read and I realize that was a quote from the tweet you linked. That is a bummer you didn't feel it.

One of the experiences was a malfunction with a surveillance camera. Just that camera though. No other electrical devices.

Hey KickinIT! Quite the event that was. I'm sorting out bad data as the debunk vs something strange this way cometh.

Quite a few larger EQ's today following the magnetosphere hit. Makes me think its more than data glitches.

Here's the story. It's not super exciting lol, but it was creepy as it was all happening.

I was downstairs in my basement checking on my plants because I'm obsessed. I had mini and her friend down there with me because it was late and I didn't want to go down alone. Nef was already in bed and the dog was in the bedroom with him, door shut.

While we were down there, directly underneath my living room, I heard the floor creaking above like someone was walking into the living room. I thought we might've woken Nef up so I told the girls to quiet down and asked if they heard that. It didn't happen again. Which would be odd if it was Nef who walked into the living room because he would've had to walk back out, but the walking/creaking sound just stopped.

The girls were now all freaked out of course lol, and I was a little bit too. So I said I would go upstairs and check things out. As I rounded the corner to walk up the stairs I noticed the door at the top of the stairs was WIDE open. Every single time I go down into the basement I close that door all the way behind myself. I was the last one down the stairs and I KNOW that I closed that door.

We get upstairs and I decide to check my camera to see if anything strange showed up. Like an orb or something. For the first time since I have had this camera, it stopped live recording and wouldn't even start up again.

We all went to bed spooked lol. I checked the status of the camera this morning and it was live recording again like nothing ever happened.

To add to the spookiness of it all, the friend that mini had over last night recently lost a close friend of hers to a mysterious death. She said she has had some strange experiences since the death. Last night was my first ghost story in this house.
