When I graduated from high school, there were 9 of us. It is a small rural school. In the last two years, 3 of the guys in my class committed suicide. The latest just 2 days ago. I just don't understand it! Very sad.

I sure hope not. Over the past several years patient portals have become the new thing. Around here anyway. Patients (us) can get access to a good chunk of our current medical history with our current provider if they provide this great service. Many of mine have. And Mini's primary physician does too. I've been kind of (stalking) watching her blood tests over the last year or so because of all of the blood-related issues I've had over the recent years. I've taken note of her slightly elevated hemoglobin and hematocrit during that time frame. And they seem to be slowing increasing. As well as her red blood cells and sometimes white blood cells. These are all the EXACT same blood tests/levels that I have had problems with, and have brought me down to my knees, literally. So I'm kinda freaking, but not saying anything to anyone. Yet. Because of my work schedule, I don't get the opportunity to be at all of her appointments and haven't yet said anything to her primary doc about my blood issues, which I'm sure are relevant to my daughter (duh - lol). But I did say something when I brought her to the girl doctor a couple of weeks ago. It was her first girl doctor appt. I also don't want to worry her. But last night she worked, and after work she was saying how her body was so sore. I know that when my hemoglobin and hematocrit are high, my body is super sore. And her hemoglobin and hematocrit are both high right now. Yet her doctor hasn't said anything about it. The poor thing also has lots of skin problems that come and go. Ugh. This stuff upsets me so much. I don't want her to have to go through any of this nightmare. I guess I'm asking for prayers. Quoting: Simple27 Of course! Prayers for both of you!!!! And lots of love & hugs sent your way, too! TANSTAAFL - There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch |

I felt myself about to up and quit my job today after how this week has gone, so I left early instead to stop myself.
