justanothergranny User ID: 77799417 United States 10/15/2019 11:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well, the Cardinals are on the brink of a potential sweep tonight. It's been torturous to watch. I almost want to be put out of my misery. However, if they would come back strong I could see getting sucked into hope again, but I just don't see it happening. With that being said, I'll post this one last time for a while... Quoting: KickinIt Sorry KI! I watched tonight after the Astro's game. Thought they were going to make a close game of it about the 6th inning. Hoping for a better year next year!!! TANSTAAFL - There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch |

Zeke38 User ID: 77052010 United States 10/15/2019 11:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Historic Midwest Blizzard Has Farmers Seeing "Massive Crop Losses...As Devastating As We've Ever Seen" Quoting: Zeke38 According to the USDA, only 15 percent of all U.S. corn and only 14 percent of all U.S. soybeans had been harvested as of October 6th. So that means that the vast majority of our corn and the vast majority of our soybeans were exposed to this giant storm, and the losses are going to be off the charts. [link to www.zerohedge.com (secure)] Best be stocking up before the prices soar! Agreed. This week, Trump was touting the $50+ billion increase in food exports to China, including soybeans, wheat and pork. Problem is, the more we export, the less we will have here at home and the higher the prices will climb. Prices are already high here in Middle Tennessee. Today at Kroger, I saw that a pound of Oscar Mayer bacon is now $11. That's insane. I needs my bacon. Most of the countries that were net exporters are now net importers. There's not enough food to go around. China was talking tough and said they would stop buying from the US and go elsewhere. They found out quickly that no other producers can can meet their needs. Since the Spring floods (and reports of other losses around the globe), I've been planning on food prices doubling (at a minimum) by the end of this year. When the reality of the poor harvests sets in (and USDA can no longer fudge the numbers), panic buying and skyrocketing prices will follow. Time to stock the pantry and basement if you haven't already. “And he brought them out and said, 'Sirs, what must I do to be saved?' Simple27 (OP) User ID: 40488826 United States 10/16/2019 12:45 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | We’re quite the bunch. I’ve had a relapse of bad gastrointestinal stuff leftover from the horrible c diff infection 18 months ago. No idea what brought it on. Multiple levels of pain/discomfort. Beginning to mend I hope now. Going into week three!! Ugh. Prayers up for all of us. Quoting: Isis One Damn Isis, sorry to hear these issues have returned. I hope you are on the mend as you say, and back to 100% soon! I feel MUCH better already. Thank you KickinIt. I hadn’t remembered to get Aloe Vera until yesterday. Four or five spoonfuls of the gel and I’m feeling like myself again. Hope it sticks! Funny you mentioned this. I've been meaning to get some for daily use. I know it's good for the gut and I have GERD and related pH issues that flare up. I keep forgetting to order it though, but last weekend my pH had been feeling off, and when I was getting groceries I found an aloe drink in the health food section, so I thought I'd try it. Specifically I got this one: [link to alodrink.com (secure)] I have to tell you, I felt a difference quickly. And although some people hate pulp in their juices, I tend to like it and in this case I loved the chunks of aloe pulp, which is only going to add to any healing properties. And it was delicious and not overly sweet! They aren't cheap so I'd rather just do a shot or two of pure aloe juice in the long run on a daily basis, but be on the lookout for these things and give 'em a try. Thanks for sharing this! ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

I might have to check in on those fellas. : ) I heard from MoN over the weekend. He's fine, the job is going fine, but he's having a hard time adjusting to the overnight schedule. Said he's tired and crabby. I told him join the club, lol Lol, I'm glad you've been in touch and he's 'fine'! ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

My husband is in the Air Force and he said Turkish sleeper cells in the USA have been activated. There are multiple confirmed attacks on the continental US. Only the Cali refinery has been reported by the main stream media. Apparently a nuke plant south of Boston on the east coast was also targeted. Don't know anything about whats going on south of Boston. I'm in Amesbury Mass well north of Boston. I'm about 20 miles south of Seabrook Nuke Plant in New Hampshire and I'm hearing rumors of an "incident" there with a massive police response. Not sure if it is connected. Thread: BREAKING,,, Cali Refinary Major Fire (Page 2) I did. I call BS on the 2 east coast 'reports'. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |
