Study Finds Monsanto’s GM Corn Nutritionally Dead, Highly Toxic Similar to the fluoride in your water, the BT Toxin in your GM Corn is toxic and poisonous. There were never any longitudinal studies on ANY Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) products, except for the guinea pigs who consume this toxic garbage on a daily basis. BT Corn is found in many products, such as cereal, corn chips and anything that contains High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS), such as soda, juices, bread, yogurt (not all), salad dressing, most candy, gum and even some ‘nutritional’ bars. Not surprisingly, the report found what many of us already know – that GMO corn is highly toxic. While non-GMO corn was found to be free of chlorides, formaldehyde, glyphosate (active ingredient in Monsanto’s best selling herbicide Roundup), and other toxic substances, GMO corn is riddled with these toxins. Based on the Environmental Protection Agency’s regulations, the maximum amount of glyphosate allowed in drinking water is 700 parts per billion, which equates to .7 ppm. The amount is a set “level of protection based on the best available science to prevent potential health problems”. Europe allows even less glyphosate in water, at .2 ppm. The report found that GMO corn contains 13 ppm – that’s 18.5x the “safe amount” set by the EPA. Similarly, GMO corn contains concerning levels of toxic formaldehyde, at 200 ppm. According to Dr. Don Huber, a respected expert on GMOs, at least one study found that 0.97 ppm of ingested formaldehyde was toxic to animals. The GMO corn was found to contain 200 times more formaldehyde than this ‘maximum’ safety amount. Quoting: whiteangel I saw that quake posted in the sinkhole thread this morning, but didn't mention it because a little while later someone had posted that it had been deleted... On a side note, these kids are lighting off those M-80's right near my house. Every few minutes I am jumping out of my skin! Not good for my heart...sounds like an explosion... I don't like those things. They seem pointless to me. No pretty colors/lights, just an obnoxious BOOM! My nerves are just so shot lately... Oh, I should also mention, and forgive me for not mentioning this yesterday. It could very well be nothing, however as the OP of this thread, I suppose it's worth throwing out there.... Yesterday was an awful, awful day/night for me physically. I didn't mention it here because I just assumed it was the heat/humidity having an effect on whatever autoimmune disorder I have. I was extremely nauseous ALL day. I even threw up twice. But even after I threw up (gross, sorry) I was still nauseous. I barely made it through the day at work and when I finally got home I was out of it physically. I laid on my couch and that was that. My girlfriend wanted to come by and visit me and I had to tell her not to because I didn't have the strength/energy to get up to open the door. I had sat up once to take a sip of my water and as soon as I sat up I felt like I was going to throw up. And I had a TERRIBLE migraine. The reason I am mentioning this now is that someone had posted this thread last night... Thread: Craving Popcorn is a sign of impending earthquake I haven't even bumped it (yet) but it made me curious so I started looking into it. I came across this, which I found very interesting in regards to both quakes and solar activity... The magnetic effects of the sun and earth can affect pulse, blood pressure and attitude. The earth responds in kind magnetically to abrupt changes in the sun and human beings also are affected by EMF changes prior to a major earthquake. Prior to earth changes, people that are sensitive to events get migraine headaches, stiff neck muscles, nausea and acid reflux.
Doctors are saying that before and after a major earthquake there may be a neurological “mismatch” between the balance mechanism in the vestibular system of the inner ear and sensory signals from nerves in the eyes and feet.
This can trigger various symptoms of nausea, dizziness, and headaches that feel similar to migraine. In severe cases people experience clumsiness, falling and vomiting. [ link to www.groundzeromedia.org] I found a lot of the info in that link interesting. Again, I have no idea if what I was feeling yesterday means anything. But what I can tell you is that I have NEVER been that nauseous in my life...not even when I was pregnant with my daughter. And my headache was so intense that I couldn't have my friend over or even get on the phone with someone extremely important to me. Hopefully this is nothing at all. But I think it said after these feelings, within 72 hours.... So I felt obligated to share that. Who knows. But it doesn't hurt to share the way we are feeling on certain days when we know our body and our body is behaving differently. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

These may help answer your question. : ) Relative humidityRelative humidity is the ratio of the partial pressure of water vapor in an air-water mixture to the saturated vapor pressure of water at a prescribed temperature. The relative humidity of air depends on temperature and the pressure of the system of interest. [ link to en.wikipedia.org] Check out the "Comfort" section in that ^^^^ link... What is relative humidity and how does it affect how I feel outside? [ link to science.howstuffworks.com] I found that ^^^ link helpful... The Heat Index Chart The Heat Index is a function of temperature and relative humidity. The combination of the two results in an apparent temperature which gives an idea of what it would feel like under normal-to-low humidity conditions. [ link to www.weather.com] Heat indexThe heat index (HI) or humiture or humidex (not to be confused with the Canadian humidex) is an index that combines air temperature and relative humidity in an attempt to determine the human-perceived equivalent temperature—how hot it feels. The result is also known as the "felt air temperature" or "apparent temperature". For example, when the temperature is 32 °C (90 °F) with very high humidity, the heat index can be about 41 °C (106 °F) The human body normally cools itself by perspiration, or sweating. Heat is removed from the body by evaporation of that sweat. However, relative humidity reduces the evaporation rate because the higher vapor content of the surrounding air does not allow the maximum amount of evaporation from the body to occur. This results in a lower rate of heat removal from the body, hence the sensation of being overheated. This effect is subjective; its measurement has been based on subjective descriptions of how hot subjects feel for a given temperature and humidity. This results in a heat index that relates one combination of temperature and humidity to another one at higher temperature and lower humidity. [ link to en.wikipedia.org] Check out the "Table of Heat Index values" section in that ^^^^ link. That shows you what the temperature "feels" like based on the air temperature and relative humidity.
Quoting: Simple27 OMG I crave popcorn all the time last week when we were having all those quakes I couldn't get enough of it! and this happens to me Doctors are saying that before and after a major earthquake there may be a neurological “mismatch” between the balance mechanism in the vestibular system of the inner ear and sensory signals from nerves in the eyes and feet.
