I recall the 2nd-3rd were days for a potentially large quake, based on recent planetary alignment. Of course, we did already have that 6.1 in Alaska, but perhaps there is more to come. 'Tis early yet.

I get it, I'm somewhat in the same boat. Finally feel like making a fair salary w/this job, but the stress and frustration the leadership (and other things) causes isn't worth it. Hence, I've made the decision to ultimately go another direction, which I am slowly figuring out the logistics on. It will be a somewhat slow process, but I will say that just having made the decision that this organization is not for me released some stress right off the bat. I seriously noticed a difference right away, and that lower stress in turn helped my overall attitude and mood at work. Plus, now I look at it as temporary vs. indefinite, which also helps.

Perhaps you can do the same - stay at your job for now, but with the commitment to start a serious job search after the holidays with full intent of leaving. That way you don't have the added financial stress of quitting before you find something else. Because there's no way to know if you'll find a job immediately or in 9 months. Not sure if you can take that risk. Your stress level and health are of utmost importance, but the reality is that you have to pay bills and keep a roof over your head.

haha, if Simple and I could make a business out of that, I'd move to Boston in a heartbeat! I've secretly desired to use my candy-making skills to make edibles, so I have that to bring to the table.

ETA: I realize what microgreens are, but I got Simple's basement plants in my head and it turned into me making edibles for sale :)
