Simple27 (OP) User ID: 40488826 ![]() 01/16/2020 08:23 PM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | it’s really not a big deal I guess I think I saw something it was over a large amount of land. that’s been cleared and there’s a lot of water over there at first I thought it was a drone? But it look like it was on fire? I don’t think there’s anybody in my hood who has anything that advanced to make a drone look like it’s on fire? There’s a boatload of wildlife here too It looked to be the size of a football and it was flying about maybe 6 to 12 feet from the ground as soon as I spotted it it vanished I drove back around to see if it was something like maybe a light something I told a friend and they think somebody here is using a drone but I don’t think so this was just weird I don’t think I can be an alien unless they’re smaller than the size of a cat hahahahaha off topic lol By the way I got HBO last night one of the movies you can watch is called the fourth kind? remember that mobie? anyways you know the theme in the movie is owls right??? Someone in my hood found an owl on their mailbox last night and posted pictures of it it looks to be about 3 feet tall this owl is huge! I totally forgot about The Fourth Kind! I actually saw that in the theater (rare for me). I liked it. Sounds like what you saw had to be a drone, simply based on the size. Perhaps it was a drone that happened to catch on fire? Bad battery, maybe? lol. Or, I'm willing to entertain the idea of mini-aliens who arrive in mini ufos. ![]() Or mini ufos surveying for the mother ship ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

WhiteAngel User ID: 13752844 ![]() 01/16/2020 08:36 PM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Just checking in. Finally feeling more human. That flu kicks butt!!!! Quoting: WhiteAngel Hope all are well and doing great! Much love ![]() Good news ! Flu can really take you down, and it seems that the flu of the last few years lasts longer. Although I remember the various flu's we got in the 1970's, they were the worst ! And of course the 1968 Hong Kong flu was a ten-day affair, and then still weak for another couple months. ![]() When I got the flu in the late 60's and the 70's, I can't say I have ever been so ill for so long, Everyone was in bed for a week and school was even cancelled for a week. 68 might be when you are speaking of. Just a kid so I don't remember much except the whole family down with it, and how quiet the neighborhood was, everyone else sick too. KickinIt User ID: 74785546 ![]() 01/16/2020 08:41 PM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 2019's Lightning Hot Spots Around the World Revealed in New Maps The U.S. accounted for about 9% of the worldwide total with nearly 223 million lightning detections. Florida's total lightning was 7% below its average per year, but the state still had the highest number of lightning strikes per square mile for the U.S. Rounding out the top five most lightning-prone states in 2019 were: Oklahoma, Missouri, Texas and Louisiana. The report noted that Texas, Missouri and Kansas all had 2 million more lightning detections than normal last year. “Of note, the Pacific Northwest heard a lot of thunder last year – Washington and Oregon each had more lightning in 2019 than in any year since 2015,” McCullar said. Lightning hot spots in the Western Hemisphere include areas from the Great Plains and Gulf Coast of the U.S. into Central America and northern and central parts of South America. Tropical locations near and either side of the equator have the most lightning in the Eastern Hemisphere. This includes an area from central Africa to eastern India and much of southeast Asia. One particular spot that stands out is the Democratic Republic of the Congo in central Africa. [link to weather.com (secure)] |
