AdorableLittlepixie User ID: 18852780 Australia 02/25/2020 08:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Call w/top bosses this afternoon went well. I did get to air concerns about my boss's behavior. Not everything. I did not want to seem to be attacking my boss. Just being agreeable, airing a couple things that were disturbing, and hopefully, I can get something before anything else happens. Bosses also agreed with my feedback about the project, although I don't know how much of that is "just agreeing" to keep me on, though. Quoting: CuriousSeeker2999 AND: I HEARD FROM "NEW" EMPLOYER I have done work with in the past. THE POSITION IS DEEP DIVE INTO EVERYTHING THAT I DO, AND I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR A POSITION LIKE THIS FOR MONTHS. BTW...reasonable salary range I threw out for new employer at conference: he responded that it was "too low" *wink* OMG OMG OMG. Be calm, CS. Be calm. And get that interview scheduled... AdorableLittlepixie I am safe and protected with every step I take with everybody always. |

As we speak said boss is mailing me multiple times, disobeying the instructions of CEO who said to me that everyone should be in their own purview, and we (him and another guy who I'm not giving too much identification here on these forums of) will have the same conversation with that boss. Boss sent me a 10 paragraph email again tonight re-doing my project with their new "assistant," telling me how they are right and I am wrong, along with several other emails. It's comical at this point. At least I can use that as evidence and make a clean exit once I have that job. |
justanothergranny User ID: 50688804 United States 02/25/2020 11:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well, good _____ evening everyone! Hope your day was decent! Quoting: justanothergranny Been very busy around my house - we have been buying all the supplies we need to fix the fence around the back of the property, and got the building materials ordered online or purchased locally to fix up the chicken house. All of my chickens except for 5 that range free around my house were killed or taken off by feral cats or foxes. I wasn't going to get any more chickens, but with the concerns about the virus I decided we needed to have the self-sufficiency of having fresh eggs. So, 26 baby chicks were delivered Friday and we need to get the fencing and roof of the chicken house fixed in the next couple of weeks. Plus, I've purchased fresh seeds, and ordered quite a few from Heritage Seed Co. I'll be starting seed flats on the patio soon. But we are also making plans to get the supplies we need to re-do the greenhouse. Our homestead is back on track!! Good report granny! Super jealous about those fresh eggs. And the greenhouse. A lot of work it looks like, but fun also. Good for you ! About 8 years ago we tilled up the back property - I had 15 rows, each 75 feet long. LOTS of garden!!! Had gotten my first chickens, and used the pine shavings and poop to build a compost heap, which I then used on the garden. I raised yellow squash, zucchini, tomatoes, onions, several kinds of peppers, pinto beans, black eyed peas and okra. The okra plants were over 10 feet tall!!! I had up to 55 chickens at one time. I absolutely love taking care of chickens. And watching baby chicks is a trip - they are hysterical to watch. I'd like to get at least 12 more, maybe more than that. I have neighbors who may need eggs as a diet addition. And I will share. I also had rabbits for a while. We never butchered any because of the grandkids. I went from 2 that granddaughter saw at the farm co-op, to 14. They really did multiply like, well, rabbits! Then they found a hole in the chicken wire of their pen and they all got out. Most fun I've had in 20 years, watching my grandkids trying to chase those rabbits down!!! Don't plan to have rabbits again, though. OK, enough off topic. I'm looking forward to resuming my country ways - gardening, canning, and raising chickens. And teaching Baby S all about it. I even bought her some garden boots and tiny gloves! Isis One User ID: 76795039 United States 02/26/2020 01:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Made pulled pork for first time tonight. I’ve been craving a pulled pork sandwich and thought why not try it myself. Got a 3 lb, pork shoulder from butcher. Did it in the crockpot. Added a sauce. Ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar and a good pork bbq dry rub seasoning powder. 8 hours on low. It was delicious! Quoting: Isis One Sounds delicious, and a big recipe to freeze some for the future. I did freeze some. Will definitely be making this again! Spread the word, change the collective conscious......
