I almost forgot that I took a picture of the full moon last night lol ( )! I've lost all of my camera settings for the moon so I've got a lot of practice (again) to find just the right ones. But she's a beauty no matter what so I will share. :)

I do this so infrequently these days that I was thinking the other day that some people probably have no idea why Mezzo calls me Moon Girl lol!

I'm guessing this is from the plasma filament that S0 mentioned this morning in his video. It must have erupted.

What is amazing is I honestly thought 25 had started.
With the little to no activity at the end of 24, one would expect 25 to be a very low solar minimum, which could trigger a Grand Solar Minimum

I forgot all about this from last night until I saw the below video! Nef and I saw 3 last night. We were outside watching all of the fireworks and the sky was perfectly clear. I kept looking in different directions to watch all of the areas setting them off when something in the sky caught my attention. It looked like a VERY bright orange/red orb. Moving across the sky somewhat fast with no blinking lights. I pointed it out to Nef but we kinda brushed it off and kept watching the fireworks. A few minutes later a second one appeared and seemed to be following the path of the first one so at first I was thinking starlink, but no others followed at the time and they were WAY too low (and big) to be satellites. These things were super bright! And cruising by pretty quickly. Just very odd. About an hour later a third suddenly flew by. And that was it. No others, way too low for starlink, much higher than the fireworks, not planes/no blinking lights, orange-red color...

In the below video he says 3 different states saw the same thing. So many additional states also saw at least one of these things based on the comments under the video and the number of videos on YT. The video clips in this video do no justice so I'm also posting some others that I found.

Some people reported it being stationary, others saw strange flying patterns. Some also saw what I saw with it flying over.
