Here are some of the best uses for Epsom Salt:
But first, a little history: Epsom salt or magnesium sulfate, is a naturally occurring mineral first discovered in in Epsom, England. Usually we use them as bath salts, and for manufacturing beauty/household products. Gardeners can even use this stuff to improve crops. Magnesium and sulfate are vital for optimal health. Magnesium contributes to 300 enzyme reactions, reduces inflammation, improves muscle and nerve function. Sulfate another key ingredient for the formation of brain tissue, joint proteins, it helps to improve nutrient absorption, and flushes toxins! Did you know that almost 80% of the Americans have a magnesium or sulfate deficiency? But don’t worry, Epsom salts can help restore your magnesium and sulfate levels.
Foot-hand Soak Add about a half cup of Epsom salt to a large bowl of warm water and soak your feet or hands for about 20 minutes: • Softens rough skin • Soothes aches • Naturally cures odors • Helps tired feet relax • Helps naturally relieve athlete’s foot • Treat nail fungus • Combats gout • Help remove splinters
Health benefits of an Epsom Salt bath: • Detoxes harmful toxins • Helps increase sleep quality • Improves circulation and heart health • Boosts magnesium and sulfate levels • Relieves muscle aches • Softens skin • Improves nerve function • Natural stress-relief • Reduces swelling of sprains and bruises • Prevents or can ease headaches • Improves the ability for the body to use insulin • Soothes itchy or damaged skin • Improves the absorption of nutrients
Mosquito Bites Add 2 Tablespoons of epsom salt to 1 cup of water and soak a clean cloth. Press the cloth on a bite for a few minutes to soothe irritation.
Using Epsom Salt For Whiter Teeth: It’s easy. 1 part Epsom salt, one part water and mix well. Then just brush your teeth as normal and gargle: • Fights periodontal diseases • Whitens your teeth
Exfoliate Mix equal parts Epsom salt and olive, coconut or almond oil in a small dish or in your hands and gently rub it on your skin to exfoliate your face or any other area of the body.
You can even make your hair Wavy: Mix 1 cup warm water, 2 teaspoons of epsom salt and 1 teaspoon of conditioner in a spray bottle and spray in your hair and mess it about. Let it dry and boom! Hello wavy.
Clean tiles easily with epsom salt: Add half a cup of epsom salt to a gallon of warm soapy water and you should be pretty surprised at the results.
Organic Fertilizer: Tomatoes, roses, and palm trees in particular love Epsom salts. All that’s needed is a little Epsom salt in the soil while the plant is blooming and the plant will produce much larger, healthier fruit or flowers. You can also add Epsom salts to the watering of your plants to increase flavor, enrich color, and stimulate growth. Try 1 spoon of epsom salt in a gallon water and soak each plant. You can even do this for your lawn. Add 2 tablespoons to every gallon. This is also great for keeping slugs, insects and weeds under control.
Keeps the raccoons away! Just sprinkle some around any trash areas outside that seem to be causing you problems and usually they will find somewhere else to scavenge.

Tuscany, Italy experienced a violent hail storm with significant impacts on the region’s capital of Florence on Friday, September 19, 2014. Local media reported that the hail storm lasted about ten minutes in the city of Florence. Videos of the storm show torrential rain and hail coming down, and while the hail stones themselves are not large, the sheer quantity is enough to cause chaos on the city streets. This was plenty of time for hail stones to coat the roads like snow. Roads were blocked and a number of government offices as well as schools and museums were closed for the day while the clean up process began. The storm also brought down trees across the city, which has lead to power outages. According to Italian media as many as 50 persons were injured from the storm, and it’s likely that local farmers will be reporting extensive crop damage. [ link to thewatchers.adorraeli.com] |

On September 2, 2014, following a human error, 45 liters of concentrated live polio virus solution were released into the environment in Rixensart city, Belgium by the pharmaceutical company, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). The liquid was conducted directly to a water-treatment plant Rosieres and released after treatment in river Lasne affluent of river Dyle which is affluent of the Escaut/Scheldt river. The estimated viral rejection of live virus Saukett (Salk) serotype 3 was of 10^13 cell culture infectious dose 50% (CCID50). GSK is currently testing an experimental Ebola vaccine on volunteers in Britain and the United States. According to the ECDC assessment, the accidental release in the environment of large amounts of live polio virus represents a risk to public health in case susceptible populations are exposed to contaminated waters or mud. The contamination of the rivers depends upon the effectiveness of the treatment in the Rosiere treatment plan to prevent viruses from being released. The Lasne and Dyle rivers are joining the Escaut/Scheldt river which flows in the southwestern part of the Netherlands where various orthodox protestant communities present a lower polio vaccination coverage, before reaching the North Sea. more [ link to thewatchers.adorraeli.com] |

Quoting: whiteangel i know it's CRAZY!!! Read this stuff and say took yesterday off to reflect and can't help it feel like posting these events might help us somewhere along the way but that's just my opinion if you guys are tired of it just say so...I can take it lol Simple here's another in your neck of the woods- Connecticut Brave teachers Scary S---! Biological Hazard in USA on Tuesday, 23 September, 2014 at 03:39 (03:39 AM) UTC. Description A second-grade boy was among four people attacked by a fox on and near school property in East Windsor on Monday morning. The two separate animal attacks took place near Broad Brook Elementary School on Monday. Second grader Evan Witzke was bitten by the fox when the animal came out of the woods near Broad Brook Elementary School just before 11:30 a.m., police said. "It bit my ankle first and then it bit my wrist," Witzke said as he described the scary moment. "We were having gym outside and we were playing this game and I was running around and this fox just came out after me." Without hesitation, his physical education teacher Elissa Daniele sprang into action and ripped the wild animal off of the 7-year-old. "I noticed a fox begin to go after a student and I thought oh no, that's not going to happen," Daniele said. She was able to hold the fox down and direct students inside to safety. Other school staffers were able to grab and place the animal in a recyclable container, but she and another staff member were bitten. All three people were treated at the school and then transported to an area hospital. "Oh yeah, it hurt. It hurt a lot," Daniele said. "That's my student. I would do anything for my students so I had to do it. I didn't want that fox to hurt anyone." Students were immediately brought inside the building. Officials did not let students outside for the rest of the school day. The first attack took place just after 10 a.m. when an unidentified person was bitten after that individual walked out their front door and onto their front porch on Mill Street. At that time, the fox was able to run away and was not located by authorities. Police said that unidentified person was treated and taken to a local hospital. Police came to the school where they "dispatched the fox." The fox was taken to the State of Connecticut Laboratory for additional testing. Since Mill Street is close to Broad Brook Elementary School, police said they believe the fox in the school attack is the same one as the one in the Mill Street attack. "It's frightening. It's really scary," parent Jennifer Vangasbeck said. "You know these are your babies. You send them to school thinking they'll be safe." Parents told Eyewitness News that they were well-informed about the animal attack and each parent at Broad Brook Elementary School received a letter from the administration. "I was a little worried but the school was good about calling and emailing us, letting us know the kids were safe," Broad Brook Elementary School parent Brenda Lee Saylor said. Parents told Eyewitness News they are shocked that this could happen during the school day and want the school district to take action to prevent this from ever happening again. Vangasbeck said school officials discuss animal safety and make sure the students "stay away from animals" and know "what to look out for." [ link to hisz.rsoe.hu] |
