But some volcanos in Azores can have Vei6 to 7 eruptions...

I'm glad you're very far. You think there will be an eruption soon?

Yes. Historical data tell us that when midle atlantic rift gets major reactivation peak we see activity in all rift islands. Iceland, Canary islands, Cape verde, and Azores... just Azores don't get reactivation yet. We can see a new island borning or an eruption in one of the main islands... He isn't kidding. This is a danger zone from hell. Major eruption or quake means a huge tsunami. Here is where he is speaking of.

[link to earthquake.usgs.gov]

Or if it doesn't work, google/search Ponta Delgada. Notice the two rifts it is near. Once you know where the Azores are, zoom back out, and imagine a big event there, either volcanic or quake and think of the directions the tsunami wave would go.

From Ponta Delgada to:
Portugal - Madeira =978 km/608 miles
Ireland - Dublin - 2288 km/1422 miles
London - 2518 km/1564 miles
Boston = 3861 km/2399 miles
New York = 4135 km/2569 miles

Everyone worries about the Canary Islands, the Azores are just as deadly.

Well this ought to be fun! Good thing my commute to work is only a couple miles.

Major winter storm with heavy snow & significant travel impacts

'If you aren't satisfied with how much snow we've gotten in recent days, then I'm sure the next storm will thrill you.

A major winter storm is getting closer and closer to the Treasure State at this hour and we are expecting significant snowfall over the next 48 hours.

Right now, it appears we'll be measuring the snow by the foot in many places, which will surely cause widespread travel disruptions[...]

[...]At this time, we are calling for 10-18 inches of snow at lower elevations, across the plains and in the valleys of north central Montana.

We're anticipating the mountains to pick up 18-32 inches of snow by the end of Tuesday.

As you can imagine, this is a high-impact event and travel will become hazardous at times due to intense snowfall rates, blowing snow and near whiteout conditions[...]

[...]Snowfall rates of 1-2" per hour will be possible, which will lead to a quick accumulaton on the roads[...]'
