We will have six supermoons in 2015, and the first of the bunch is to fall on January 20, 2015.

What, you say? Supermoon? But the moon isn’t anywhere near full on this date! That’s right. This isn’t a full supermoon. Rather, it’s a new supermoon. In fact, the new moons on January 20, February 18 and March 20 all qualify as supermoons.

I had massive mumps and watched Armstrong walk on the moon. That night I watched the pilot of Star Trek, so yeah, the two go hand in hand and a Trekkie was born

Both of these books are big books, the kind I love. So far Expedition is a love story with a group getting ready to go to Brazil - only half way through the book so we haven't made it there yet. Very good read for any interested.

That's very interesting. I read a review years back that piezoelectric currents can affect the liquid state all around us, as current failure is repetitive as waves. Just something to ponder, eyes open my friend.The thermodynamics of energy can manifest itself in many ways before escalation.Peace

Authorities responded to Haleiwa Boat Harbor Sunday afternoon after a catamaran was hit by a large wave, ejecting people into the water. Ocean Safety officials saw the 40-foot catamaran, Ho'o Nanea, get hit by 15 to 18 foot waves just before 11 a.m. Lifeguards rescued the people onboard and brought them to shore. Several people were ejected from the boat into the water, officials said. A 50-year-old woman was transported to the hospital in stable condition. Paramedics treated five other patients but they refused transportation. The North Shore is under a high surf warning with surf until 6 a.m. Monday.
