My Grandpa was in the Bikini Atoll Islands Nuke testing at the tail end, in the early 1950s. He was off shore on a Navy ship. He was not directly involved in testing. But he could see them. Then some other places they tested as well in the mid 50s. He begin getting melanoma just in his 30s. He still gets "spots" removed to this day. He went in to the VA just 3 or 4 years ago, and got a lot of "spots" removed. He's always had nasty skin issues. It also didn't help he was a Diver during most of the Vietnam War. He was always is the dirty rivers, with all the Napalm runoff, leaky oil and fuel from boats and ships and shit like that.

I am improving rapidly.

I bowled six games again because my team mate didn't show and there wasn't a sub...SO...my scores are back to 140s, after one day...I expect to be back to 160s - 170s soon.

I got tired quickly bowling six games at once.

But, I am rocking the left foot planting style.

Team is back in second place. WHOO HOO.

YEAH BABY.

2011 was a notable year for quakes globally. I think that was the same year that DC got shaken by a near-6 magnitude quake. I just hope we don't see an uptick across the board if this pattern is indeed repeating itself again.

The quake occurred just two days after the magnitude 7, on Friday at 2:46 p.m. JST.

Assuming similar patterns hold, another 9.0+ will likely be occurring in the window of 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Friday, 2/20/2015.

Not a prediction, just a comparison observation.

Looks like the same area and the 4.3 yesterday. Thant, oddly enough, wasn't even on the local Seattle news. I watched channel 5 news at 1pm. Channel 7 news at 6:30. But if a tiny micro quake happens any place within like 50 miles of Seattle. Even if it's like a 1.9, it's Breaking News and we all freak out in the low lands.

Good night all. If the "big one" hits Seattle overnight, well it was nice being a part of GLP for so many years. Especially the cool people I've been getting to know the last 1 and a half years. Wish I would have know more of you cool people the full 6 years I've been GLPing.

USGS downgraded to 1.6. That's why you're not seeing it if your settings are for 2.5+.
