I am watching SO's video for today which he is talking about the huge solar flare on the backside of the sun. Stating that this could have been a Carrington Event if it was earth facing because of how dense and fast the CME was moving. I have one question. Where did the event come from?? Look at the image on the backside of the sun. [ link to www.solarham.net] I don't see a sunspot that is big enough to have caused that, do you? Did we have a sunspot go through massive growth when it rotated away from the earth? Was it a filament? I would think this would be the number one talked about event on here and the MSM news. Quoting: WhiteAngel I was assuming it was from the filament. Strange, there was a pinned (I think) thread about it earlier. Can't seem to find it now. Did a couple searches...nada. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

Quoting: Luisport You know this isn't true at all. We only have global warming. The earth is getting hotter and hotter....not colder and colder. 2012 broke tons of heat records, remember? I know they don't talk about it but it also broke 3 times as many cold records. Same for 2013 but this time, the heat records weren't as many and the cold was still impressive and more than the heat. 2014 there were even more cold records made and heat was even less than before. 2015 so far has set cold records to the lowest since record keeping began in most towns. But it is all part of global warming. The arctic is melting but shhhhh don't mention that Antarctica is growing quickly. |
