What would a reasonable scientific explanation be for so many EQs that register in a region but cannot be found?

I can't think of one.

This one was just conveniently removed.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70114715

The North Pacific Ocean earthquakes are ALWAYS removed. That's if they even get listed to begin with. Seriously, they are always removed. I wonder why that is?
 Quoting: Simple27

This happens a lot with the AFN or is it anf earthquake monitors. We will have a large quake in Australia and it'll trigger something up in the North Pacific. They then remove the North Pacific because it isn't there it is a sensor glitch.

Just wanted to add this was happening a lot back in 2011 and 2012 and that was when we realized it was a glitch. The earthquakes are not happening they're honest it's a computer glitch from the sensors

Makes sense. I have noticed more than once that these EQ's happen after NZ has a sizable EQ.

Although forecast models are having trouble dealing with that moisture, forecasters say next week will "be the antithesis of the current week, with cool temperatures and a chance of rain nearly every day" in northwest Oregon and southwest Washington.

Still nothing on local news. I keep checking. Seems it happened right along I-90. I hope the tunnel didn't crack. I'm not sure where along I-90. But up in the mountains there's about 2 mile covered area so avalanches don't wipe out cars.

Oh, beef enchiladas in the oven. I cheated. Just little frozen soft tacos, with olives, green chilies, cheese and canned red sauce. The big can or red sauce had Mexican writing on the label. So I figured it's be good.

Unrelated. But an Amber Alert just came on TV.
Amber Alert out of Tacoma, WA
An Amber Alert has been issued for 5-month-old Ava Belk, last seen in Tacoma. May be in a 2004 black Cadillac ETS, WA plate #AUM2481 Call 911 if seen. I missed the rest.
