I'm not overly concerned that the condition code is 8 as that would be expected of a newly discovered asteroid. It is a pretty decent size rock though and expected to come close enough for me! Not just close to Earth, but even a little closer to the Moon. [link to ssd.jpl.nasa.gov]

I don't know, Passenger. 1dunno1 Astro doesn't seem concerned about it hitting us and he certainly knows what he's talking about. But who knows, sometimes life throws you a curve ball. Not much we can really do but wait.

I wonder if it's traveling alone...

Thank you very much hf

Dr Astro thinks there is a possibility that it hits earth :
Thread: Asteroid 2015 HR182 has a very small chance of hitting earth on October 22nd

Do you think we can see it with a telescope? Won't it pass too fast to see it?

Hello.

Boring Tuesday for me. Was called earlier this morning, and told I didn't need to come into work today or tomorrow. They are upgrading several of the mail dumping machines. I mean I could have gone in, but I'd basically be dong nothing. Unlike most people, I hate being at working with very little to do. I know most see it as free money. But I hate days like that. Makes a shift seem so, so, so long.

So I went to to grocery and bought a whole chicken to bake, some cheap white bread, lettuce and a couple tomatoes. I'm going to eat chicken sandwiches today and tomorrow.

Call me simple, but nothing better then a chicken sandwich eith white bread, lettuce, tomato, may and mustard.

That is actually a different asteroid. That one Astro did say there's a very tiny chance of impact on the 22nd.

The one from the video I posted this morning (Asteroid 2015 TB145) is the one that will have a close approach on the 31st, Halloween. Astro has a thread on that one as well. He said if weather conditions are right he will do a live webcast and track it with his telescope. : )
