I have been carting Pandi from the HS to her culinary class since her accident on Oct 21st where her car was totaled and she isn't totally healed up so can't use the bus that is supplies as she can't climb the steps. She was limping worse than usual and I asked why as we left the parking lot. Seems she is a major klutz as she was playing ping pong in gym (not allowed to do more) and slipped and fell on her butt hurting her tail bone and jarring the accident injuries. I was laughing pretty hard when the car just stopped running. Glanced at the gas gauge, still a quarter of a tank. Let it coast to a slightly safer area of the road and tried to start the engine. Cranked but didn't turn over. &*^% *&^&*^ *^&*% Called DH who said what I thought (*&*( (*&*(&( &*^^%&*&**(^ Friend brought him to my location with a little gas in hopes that gauge was broke and it had just ran out of gas. Nope, as soon as he tried to start it he knew it was more than just running out of gas, which would have been weird. 3 hours later, the car is in the driveway after being towed home, dead! A friend of his will be coming over after he gets off to see what they can find is wrong with the stupid piece of (**& We now are without a vehicle at all. Crossing our fingers it is something simple like a timing belt breaking. I fear it is dead and gone, after all it is a 1997 and has over 250,000 miles. (**&^%^&*(&&^%$^&*&^ |
