I went outside a little while ago to see the moon. I went out onto my back deck and when I did a squirrel came bomb assing down from the roof of my deck and hauled ass across the yard and up a tree.

I started hearing this strange sound as I was attempting to take a pic of the moon. I couldn't figure out what the sound was. I've never heard it lol.

I call my daughter outside who's petrified. She's like 'I'm not coming out there to be attacked by something' haha!

Finally I figure out what it was. It was that squirrel! I recorded it...

This thing was flying all around the yard. Up and down the two large trees. Running back and forth between them. At one point it came towards me on the deck. I stomped my foot and it ran towards the tree again, but this thing was watching me lol! And yelling at me!

I decided to look this up and found this...

Checking in to say hi to all.

Been in the kitchen for the last 5 hours and now it is nap time! I am going to have arms like Popeye by the time I finish 12 batches of fondant!!!! Only did 3 this morning plus a batch of gumpaste. Gumpaste is the hardest to knead and knead and knead.

Hope all are doing well!!!!
 Quoting: WhiteAngel

What?!? You make your own fondant and gumpaste?? That sounds like an insane amount of work!

Most commercial fondant tastes nasty. No one likes it. Marshmallow fondant tastes much better, costs a fraction of the price and is super easy to make. I promise, it isn't that big of deal. I can make it for $2 for the same price it costs $10-15 commercially.

Gumpaste is where the real savings are. It costs a lot and I can make it for 80% less

Not even a real cake! It will be dummy styrofoam! 5 tiers with 4 separators. All that have to be covered in fondant, the biggest tier is 16" sq. This is for school and hopefully she gets at least a B otherwise, not sure she will graduate! He said her presentation part of great, and now the cake has to be also.

She just has to work on the presentation - power point and her verbal talk which has to last for 10-20 minutes. After she one 1st place at the competition, she added 5 more minutes to talk about and now is just over 14 minutes so she should be good there. the 10 page thesis she already got an A on.

I haven't a clue. Didn't know much about any of this stuff back then. Started watching some changes happen at the end of 2010 and how the moon looked different then (normal now) and others even on GLP were talking about the same thing. Solar, I was clueless.

This is the last part of the Arkansas Storm and the most bizarre of all three parts.

This video was captured around 3:30 a.m.-3:45 a.m. in Northwest Arkansas. Crazy wind, strong rain, thunder rumbling...BUT what is up with the fast-moving anomaly that whizzed upward during this storm.

I have slowed it down. I have grabbed images and have cropped the anomaly to enlarge it to try and understand what the heck that was. It also breaks in half as it is traveling rapidly upwards...showing the bottom half to be more illuminated.

If anyone has any suggestions or answers, please share... I would love to hear them.

hi

Good to see your all still around Simple and friends, haven't been around much, some hard times. My girlfriend died of cancer over new years eve, which was really tuff. Just recently I ended up in the hospital for 10 days with pneumonia, my lungs are completely filled with it, and it is extremely hard to do much of anything without getting winded and out of air. The doctors tell me it going to be quite some time before I get back to normal, if I even do that. Anyway, you guys have always been a good place to come and get some peace of mind. I will check in from time to time, as you put a smile on my face, when I do. Thanks.
