maybe the Movie San Andres was right maybe the foreshocks

happen around the Hoover Dam on the Arizona/Nevada Border

there before the Big one hits in California since if you

fold the US$50 Bill it shows the Hoover dam collapsing

I had some lunch earlier today that didn't sit well. Got home about 90 min ago and got sick :( Feeling a bit better after that, but exhausted. Yet, how do I get offline with all these quakes going on? Might have to keep phone on and nearby tonite.

Geez, was busy this evening and just checked things about a half hour ago -- this is crazy! So many lost souls and disrupted lives. If CERN had anything to do with this . . . well, then it's tearing tbe earth apart! But heckifIknow. I wonder what that foam smells like (dirt, chemical, etc). We've gotten darn lucky on tbe tsunamis. Hope everyone stays safe. Thank you so much for all y'all's knowledge, insight, and sharing.

The most significant hazards from induced seismicity are in six states, listed in order from highest to lowest potential hazard: Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Colorado, New Mexico and Arkansas. Oklahoma and Texas have the largest populations exposed to induced earthquakes.

I know may worry about California , New Madrid is worrisome because of what we have done in human activity even though we deny grouphug

USGS research geophysicist Morgan Moschetti helped author the report. He says the forecast's higher short-term earthquake risk for the New Madrid area is based on an increase in the number of small earthquakes in the region over the past few years. Horton says it is normal for the rate to fluctuate over time and adds that the long-term rate remains generally consistent

The Shoshone River, near Yellowstone National Park, suddenly and without warning started boiling, changed color and began to emit a sulfuric odor on March 25. Nearby witnesses wondered if they were “all going to die.” The current consensus among geologists and other experts is that a portion of the Shoshone River began to boil, located near Cody, Wyoming, and a new Yellowstone vent has opened up.

Simple explanation:

[link to home.cern]

On Friday (March 25), the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) opened its doors to allow particles to travel around the ring for the first time since the year-end technical stop (YETS) began in December 2015. At 10.30 am, a first bunch was circulating and by midday the beam was circulating in both directions.

2015 saw the start of Run 2 for the LHC, the largest accelerator in the world where the LHC reached a proton-proton collision energy of 13 TeV -- the highest ever reached by a particle accelerator. Beam intensity also increased and, by the end of 2015, 2240 protons bunches per beam were being collided. This year, the aim is to increase the number of bunches even further to the target of 2748.
Beams are made of “trains” of proton bunches moving at almost the speed of light around the 27 kilometre ring of the LHC. By sending more bunches around the ring the LHC will be able to generate more collisions, meaning more physics data for the experiments.
